I have been trying to update Life Guard on Zebra MC3390R through SOTI. I have searched the forum and none of the suggestions work. I followed this document from Zebra and it does not work either, https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/Perform-an-OS-Update-using-StageNow-Tool-or-SOTI-MobiControl?language=en_US.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
First make sure that you have the right firmware version suitable for the RFID version of the MC3390R
Then use a File Sync rule (my recommendation) or Package to deliver the .zip file to the /sdcard/ on the device. Use a Post-Sync or Post-Install script with the format install_system_update /sdcard/YOURZIPFILE.zip.
