Cant Enroll ZEBRA Barcodes with enrollement ID

Hi,

We are facing an issue with enrolling our Barcode devices.

We cannot enroll them with the enrollment ID of the enrollment policy since maybe a month ago, but we can enroll them by the enrollment URL of the same policy.

We dont face this issue with other device types neither with other enrollment policies.

Anyone faced this issue before and how to make it work again?

Just so I understand this, you have one single enrolment policy where you can't enrol using its enrolment ID?

Other Android enrollment policies work fine?

if that's the case it sounds like somethings gone wrong on SOTIs services where the enrollment ID and the associated server details are stored. There an update enrollment policy action you can try which updates the information on SOTI services, perhaps try that.

Hi Jakub, Robert,

On our on-premise installations of SOTI Mobicontrol Version: 2025.1.2.1007 we have exactly the same issue.

As we only use Zebra devices I can not answer if this is only the case on Zebra devices or also on other types.

We have 17 Enrollment rules active on the server which can only be used with the Enrollment URL and NOT with the Enrollment ID. Looked at all settings on the server and the network, Updating the Profiles did not work on our end.

So currently we use barcodes with Enrollment URL i.s.o. Enrollment ID.

If you got it fixed I am curious how you got it activated again..

Hi Onno,

we haven't tried the recommended solution yet, so we don't know.

I will let you all know as soon as we try to enroll new Zebras.

Again, we are not facing this issue with mobile phones from bunch of manufacturers, Raspberries or Tablets.
