Hi there, maybe someone can help me, i think i'm only looking around the setting i'm looking for.

I want to set up a Usergroup for our Helpdesk, thats easy.

But they should see the profiles when open device information, but none is displayed.

Which right do i have to be set, so they can see it?

For EACH existing profile that you want thhe helpdesk user to be able to read, click on the profile, select the "Edit Permissions" in the Profile Actions menu and then add required "user/user-group" (which should be your "helpdesk" group) and the required permissions (changed from "None" to either "Read Only" or "Read And Write").

Hello

In each profile you have to give permissions for the user group.

I assigned the user group to the users (or otherway around, both is possible). But i can't find the permission, so they can see the profiles in device details.

I found it before but i didn't understand how to do that -.-

But i did it now...:

- I had to search for the group,

- click on it

- then save

- and then edit rights

- and save again...

My suggestion was different:

- search for the group

- click on it

- it appears in the list

- choose rights

- save

There is a "workaround" for this issue.

Create a user within the same group - edit the permissions for this user to be able to create the necessary profiles - and ONLY USE this user to create the profiles.
Because all users are members of the same group the permissions should be set. We have used this in the past and I would guess, it should still work.
