Enabling Android App Links within Soti Surf

Solved

Is it possible to enable Android App Links within Soti Surf in order to open a native APK?

Alternatively, is there some other way of intercepting a CTA from within Soti Surf in order to open a native APK?

Hi Dan,

Thank you for posting on SOTI Pulse!

Just wondering why you are specifically looking to open a native application from Soti Surf. Is it not possible to leave the application and open it from the device directly?

I can ask the product manager team if this is a possibility and get back to you.

Kind regards,

Hi Dan,

I spoke to a product manager and this is what they told me.

"In order to open a App from surf the app needs to write the code for handling the deeplink, SURF has the capability to launch the URL and if the url has the deeplink enabled in it and the app has the same deeplink mentioned in their code (manifest file) then it would be open in that app. This is the standard way."

Kind regards,
