Hi Community,
I struggle a bit to get EHS installed through play store with the OEMConfig to set it up as default launcher.
Is what I configured so far. But it does not apply. MobiControl does not scream for what is mandatory for it, hence I am a bit lost and reaching out to you.

For what its worth I typically install EHS directly as an APK based Package in SOTI, delivered by Profile. And then use Zebra MX XML generated by StageNow to process the related MX settings for EHS. You can build that XML into the same Package has the APK and have it executed with an mxconfig post-install script. This ensures that the APK gets installed and the MX is applied afterwards in the correct sequence.
OEMConfig and Play Store based installs of EHS are more for other more limited EMM providers that can't install APKs directly or process MX XML files through scripting like SOTI can. You'll have more control over installation timing and consistency using Packages and Profiles than relying on pushing things through Google Play.
Update:
I installed EHS through App Store and added File Sync policies. One for the EHS config and one to apply the XML through MXCONFIG.

I would think that you need to provicde the certificate as well but not sure where to get it.

I tried to obtain it, but also struggled. Could not find it on the Zebra dev Page, nor in Play Store.
I am giving Matt's Stage Now suggestion a try and keep you posted.
