Currently I am looking at something around 30min to setup a single new tablet on MobiControl. Most of this is waiting for file downloads to the tablets. So I am looking for a way to speed up this process so I started looking in to setting up a dedicated router that passes though a Squid-Cache server or something similar. 

Has anyone tried to run a local caching server on-site to try and speed up initial provisioning times? 

Will this work? If so, any tips from anyone that might have tried something like this?

Are there any other ideas for how I could speed up these deployment times?

I am in reality only downloading around 500MB including tablet FW/Knox updates.
