If you are using MobiControl v.14.3.0 and higher then please follow the process below to launch Elasticsearch service manager to increase the Java Heap Size. However ,it is highly recommended to create a support case (click here) and work with SOTI engineer who can examine your environment according to number of devices , profiles and custom data to provide you with the exact number for memory.

1. Start command prompt using Administrative rights

2. Change directory to %ProgramFiles%\SOTI\MobiControl\Search\bin

3. Run the following command elasticsearch-service.bat manager

4.Set the Initial Memory Pool and Maximum memory pool under the Java Tab as per the desired value.

5. For Elasticsearch v.6.4:Both initial memory pool and maximum memory pool MUST have identical values.

6. Restart the  search service in MobiControl Admin utility.

For an example :

If you are using MobiControl 14.3 or higher, then you can use the search service tool to increase the allocated memory for search.  Note that this is an advanced configuration, so I recommend working with SOTI Support when making these changes.

3. Run the following command elasticsearch-service.bat manager

4. Set the Maximum Memory Pool value to desired size (MB)

5. Restart the  search service in MobiControl Admin utility
