Hi all,
Is there a possibility to send a script or something else, to log out the user thats using a device.
F.E.
condition:
when you put a scanner on a charge docking ( isCharging is True)
action:
log out the user from this scanner.
Via the device actions its possible but i can't select this action in the signal actions.

I don't believe this is possible unfortunately. I have been needing something similar for a while and have yet found a suitable solution.
I am unsure of your use case and imagine this wont be helpful, but eitherway, in MC 2024 they introduced the ability to log shared device user out after X time of inactivity. Maybe you could leverage that in someway?
Otherwise, I think the only solution you have is to leverage the REST APIs. Something like pulling the status of every device periodically and checking the ischarging and logged in states and then logging out shared of those logged in and charging. We use PowerAutomate to do different but similar things.

We have a log out structure after a X time of inactivity indeed. But it should be great to use the signal solution for this.
We will also check the API solution.

Unfortunately, we do not have this feature in the current MobiControl released versions, to log out the user from shared device for the mentioned specific condition in which the device is charging. But as Adam had suggested and as you are already aware of, it is possible in SOTI MobiControl to log out a shared device user from the device after a defined time period of inactivity.
It would be greatly appreciated if you can create a support ticket (click here) or call the SOTI Technical Support team (click here) to raise a Feature Request for incorporating this feature to log out the user from device while it's identified to be in charging. This could be implemented by adding a condition in the Signal policies specific to your requirement.
These feature requests should be raised by customers with the assistance from Technical Support agents.
To provide you with a heads up, this would not be an instant resolution as SOTI Product Team have to work internally with different departments to get this added into the next version release. So, this may take weeks to get it included in the new build. Please follow the release notes of SOTI MobiControl to get an update on the improvements done on the new release.
