Hi,

I wonder if anyone have any experience with Power Apps in MobiControl?

I have created a lockdown screen, and have no problems adding the main Power Apps to it. But I want it to be easy for the users to open a couple of specific apps from the lockdown screen. Like when I do not use lockdown I can add the shortcuts to specific apps on the homescreen like this:

I thought i should refer to this thread: https://discussions.soti.net/thread/is-there-any-way-to-use-microsoft-power-apps-add-to-home-option-to-add-that-app-to-the-lockdown-screen-as-an-app but then recognize it also only links the main app not the power app itself.

You could try to open that app from the homescreen link and then send the legacy script identify_activity to the device. Check the device logs in Soti then if you see something relevant which could point to the relevant app but it could be also like a widget which can't be accessed directly but let'S think positive for now until you tested it.

But i alos found this: https://365bythijs.be/2020/03/09/deploy-power-app-to-a-managed-home-screen-through-mem/ so, if power apps are web based this is the way to go ;)

Thank you, Rafael. The first thread only puts in the main app. That is solved.

But your tip on the web app, kind of works. But I still got this ekstra annoying step. Have to look into if I can get it to skip this step, and just open in one of them.

Does maybe the URL change if you press it or can you for ex. set to always open them in the browser?

RN

Hi,

Yes. I solved it. I'm adding '&skipMobileRedirect=1' to the URL.

The only problem is if I'm gonna add an app who reads NFC, I will need it to launch in the Power Apps main app (do not seem to be supported in browser). But not an issue quite yet.

Thanks for your help and input.
