I believe I already have the versions you have suggested, see this screenshot from MobiControl that shows an agent version of 14.1.6 Build 1018 and a Active MDM API of Zebra EMDK Work Managed device with Remove View 1.16.10.121.
SOTI MobiControl versions already installed
Is there something else I need beyond these? If so, how do I install them?
Just wanted to add - I've tried downloading the Plugin linked and deploying it via MobiControl, but it fails with permission errors? I get similar if I try to download it directly from a browser and install on handheld...? I guess I'm missing something key here in how these things work? Can anyone show me the light or point me at some docs?

The plugin that you download from that link will already be in PCG format ready to upload to the server as a package. I would not expect you to have any permission issues installing it on the device if you uploaded it as a package into MobiControl and deployed it via an Android Enterprise Profile.

Thank you for your post, please check on the device if you have enabled Usage Access Permission for MobiControl App. If not, please allow and try to push plugin on the device. Also, check if there is any feature control profile on the device.
