I also update OS to the and there is that info: OEM Version 02-32-04.00-OG-U00-STD Supported APIs Remote View, Work Profile

I also made this steps: https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/Enable-SOTI-MobiControl-Remote-Control-for-Android-Enterprise-Device-Owner-AEDO-Mode?language=en_US

Hi Jan,

Thank you for your post on SOTI Central.

To get full functionality out of Android Enterprise, yes you will need a Managed Google Play account. This can be added under Global Settings -> 'Enterprise Bindings' in the Web Console. Here is some more information on the topic: Using Managed Google Play Accounts (soti.net)

After you enter the SOTI EMM token identifier, the device will begin the transition to Enterprise Work Managed. Upon enrollment the connection will be made to the Managed Google Play account enabling you to install approved work apps and, most importantly, take remote control of the device.

Kind regards,

You need to enrol your device into managed-device mode, and not in your current work-profile mode, which only support remote-view.

Then you should make sure there is a compatible Android-Enterprise plug-in module successfully deployed onto your device.  After that, you should have an RC# entry in your device active MDM API's.

Check on various posts in other discussion threads in this forum on how to enrol your device into managed device mode.

Agreed. If you are only enrolling your device as Work Profile then you are likely going to encounter bigger problems than just Remote Control not working. Re-enroll the device under Device Owner an then install the Zebra plugin and RC should work perfectly fine.

Thank you for that hint so what i understand is need to have Google play account additionaly?

For example

  • Enter the SOTI EMM token identifier (afw#mobicontrol) when prompted to add a Google account
I tested it without this and this made problem

*Im sorry for that noob question but Im new in SOTI after years :)
