Kindly use the following method to enroll your device with android enterprise work manage device (Where you can have remote control inplace of remote view)

• Kindly make sure your device must be completley factory reset  as agent used to stay in persistance storage so will not deleted completely with a factory reset through device settings so will suggest you to scan barcode mentioned in the link to factory reset it completley  https://www.mobilitysolutions.cz/files/Android%20Factory%20Default.pdf 
• Once factory reset , kindly set up your device as a fresh device
• Enter the SOTI EMM token identifier (afw#mobicontrol) when prompted to add a Google account
• Click Next and follow the instruction to download and install android enterprise agent 
• Once installed then enter enrollment id to enroll

After previous incorrect attempts I had to reset with Factory Default reset file which did work.

I followed your suggested steps and it did also work. All good.

I do NOT recommend the afw#mobicontrol enrollment method for Zebra Android devices with SOTI. The StageNow method is the preferred and most streamlined method available and allows you to specify what Agent you want to install and you don't have to worry about dpc extra issues with the dpc identifier enrollment method such as system apps getting disabled during enrollment.
