Zebra Android Enterprise Device Owner Error in Google Play store

I have some Zebra MC9300 devices with Android 8.1.0 on them.  There were enrolled as Android Enterprise DO mode about 3 years ago.  There were on a network behind a firewall for a long time as we did not need them to get updates from the google play store.  Now we are migrating to a new Citrix environment and need them to have the latest version of the Citrix Workspace app as well as the latest versions of Chrome/Webview.  However I have noticed that on at least four of the devices they now show an error from Google to verify it is you.  We did recently open up firewall rules to allow the devices to talk to the GMS services.  Is there anyway other than a wipe/re-enroll to get past this error?  This is for Android Enterprise dedicated devices or Device Owner mode so it is not like we can put a standard google account in to verify.

Ironically the device would have to have the ports open to Play in order to be able to even download that app ;)

Download the APK from

https://apkpure.com/android-enterprise-connectivity-check/com.nosari20.connectivitytest

Then enroll it over MobiControl to the Deivce or install it manually ?

We identified the Probem with Creating the Google Account on the Device.

That a Partner has not set the DNS Entry what we had set ad Admin Utility at DMA.

That is a bit of a curious situation. Were the devices assigned Google Service accounts at the time of enrollment or did you bypass the account creation step? Newer MC versions offer the ability to refresh the service account on the device. I would suggest starting with that to see if it helps clear out this prompt.

Thanks Matt.  I already tried this one and get an error.  Script command is not supported by device (resetenterpriseaccount).

What Agent version are you running? That may need to be upgraded as well. If the devices have been "offline" and disconnected from Play for a while then they likely have not been receiving recent upgrades to the SOTI Agent unless you were proactively doing that.

13.8.  Is it possible to download the latest agent and install on DO mode device from APK?

If the devices are already enrolled and managed under DO then you can perform an upgrade to the latest AE agent and maintain the DO status. I recommend using a File Sync rule for delivery of the new Agent APK with a post-install script to install that APK. You can also try to initiate the upgrade from Google Play.

Hello Allen,

Thanks for posting on SOTI Central,

resetenterpriseaccount script command is available on 14.1.0+ agents

Have you been successful with Matt's suggestions to update the agent?
