I added my iPhone using Apple Configurator, and it's visible in the Apple Business Management device list . Now, MobiControl has successfully added the device . However, when I try to send a message, I get the message: "1 selected device(s) do not have the MobiControl Agent installed, or have not accepted its terms & conditions in-app." What steps do I need to take to successfully send the message?

Thank you, I'm glad. I still have some questions and need your help:

  1. In this situation, do I need to manually log in with my Apple ID on the device? What if I don't have an Apple ID?

  2. If I add 100 devices in batches using Apple Configurator, do I need to manually install Mobicontrol on each device? I think that's a lot of work.

Qing Ye,

When messages are sent to  Android or Windows Modern devices, they will be shown on the device screens irrespective of what apps is running in the foreground.  However, messages sent to Apple devices have to be viewed in a specific tab within the MobiControl device agent.  Hence, if your Apple device does not have any MobiControl device agent deployed/installed, attempting to send a message to the device does not make sense.  That is why you get such a warning message on the web-console when attempting to send a message to a device that has no device agent installed.
