Error assign profile to device group

Hello, I have a server that works well in last year, but today, after I create a new profile, I can't assign this new, or one of existing profiles.

It shows an error:

  • The server could not complete your request. An internal server error occurred.

My mobicontrol version is 15.5 On-Prem installation.

Any idea how to solve this?

Has there been any MobiControl server or hosting MS-Windows Server upgrade?  

Is there similar problem for ALL or just SOME existing profiles?  

Download and check the various server log files for more information about the error(s). 

You might also need to add more new profiles to test whether the problem is specific to certain device platform(s), device group(s), device mode(s) or profile payload(s).

The server has not been upgraded.

This error occurs in all profiles, new, and existing ones.

I also have a warning after login saying that "advanced mobicontrol search is not available".

To fix this I unninstall and install again SOTI MobiControl and now everything works fine.

It's good to know your problem was solved after re-installing your MobiControl server. 

However, since the server had not been upgraded when you found the problem, it might be worth the effort to find out the root cause(s) of the problem possibly from your previous server log files, so that hopefully similar problem will not occur again in the future.
