Lockdown Mode
Hello,
Based on threads such as these;
https://discussions.soti.net/discussions/disable-screen-timeout-in-lockdown
https://discussions.soti.net/discussions/is-it-possible-to-force-screen-to-be-on-at-all-times
I am attempting to script our end devices to adhere to a setting of the administrative choice. Currently, settings in mobicontrol permit the device to have 5 minutes of inactivity before locking out. Some of the forums suggest the following script:
Writesecuresetting –sys screen_off_timeout 120000
Applied as a legacy script, this doesn't have the desired effect of changing the timeout, but I'm guessing it should? I saw that write permissions may be blocking this kind of execution, does that impact a write script even from the mobicontrol console?
Much obliged
