I have been enrolling a number of new phones and the telephone number does not seem to be picked up on enrolment. I have older phones that i have factory reset and then enrolled and they are working perfectly with.
Does anyone know why the telephone number is not picked up on a new out of the box phone?
One possible reason is related to the SIM cards on your new phones. Some of my customers in Hong Kong previously had the same problem, and had it fixed after requesting their telco to swap for a new set of SIM cards with phone number readable by device firmware. To rule out this possibility, switch the SIM cards between your old and new phones to verify if results remain consistent with the same SIM card for different phone brands/models.
We saw this on new enrolled phones right here too. Got it solved by restart the device, then it was displayed (a simple checkin didn't took effect).
