Chrome - Term of Use - Automatic acceptation

Hi the SOTI community,

We are using profile with Kiosk mode.

Recently, I've created Web Application from the Managed Google Play Store.

It works well on my test mobile.

But I'm now block when I want to deploy those applications in Kiosk mode on new devices as the web application use Google Chrome, and it doesn't want to open until we accept the term of use which are not displayed in Kiosk mode.

As I have 500 devices to deploy, I'd like to avoid to do it manually.

Is there a script to automatically accept the Chrome term of use?

Device : Crosscall Core X5

Thank you in advance

Hi,

could be Soti Surf a solution for you to be used?

We use this Browser what is included in the MobiControl License and can be full customized to your Company Needs over the Profiles.

We use it for an external WEB Application and it is working perfect on Zebra or Honeywell.

Or change your default Browser to Soti Surf ?

But it must be then Customized also with a Profile, without a Profile Config - Soti Surf is not usable.

HI Marcus, thank you for your answer.

Unfortunatelly, we test SOTI Surf and the navigation into the website is really slow.

Those website works much better with Chrome.

Hello Yoann,

that sounds not so well for the Surf Browser.

Might it made sense to check that with the Soti Support?

May they find something and it maybe improve Soti Surf or they have an other solution for you,.

One general approach to possibly solve similar problem is to identify the name(s) of the app/activity responsible for the T&C prompt when lockdown/kiosk mode is off, and have it/them whitelisted/added in your lockdown/kiosk mode.
