Do not disturb question

Hello,

I am trying to find out if it is possible to disable or block users from being able to use "Do Not Disturb" mode on AndroidPlus devices. I know you can Disable Status Bar Expansion using the Lockdown profile but there are other functions in the status bar that users still need access too. Is there some kind of way to achieve this?

Thank you,

Sean

Hello Sean,

Can you let us know the specific settings/function users need to access and we can check the requirement?

Also, regarding blocking "Do Not Disturb", what devices are these? I can certainly take a look at this and get back to you.

Hello,

These are for Pivot 8744 devices running Android 5.1.1. The screen shot below is when you swipe down twice from the top of the screen. Screen brightness, flashlight, location are the settings that I don't want to block but the Do not disturb I do want to block. Thank you for the help!

Hey Sean,

Did you ever get an update/answer to this question? The best I've been able to find is how to disable/enable the option, which works great via StageNow or XML.

https://www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/knowledge-articles/evm/Disable-Do-not-Disturb-Mode-via-Stagenow.html

The only issue I have is that if the option gets disabled in whatever state the user has left it in. So for example, if the user had previously enabled DND, if I disable the feature it disables it with the DND still active.

Wondering if Zebra have a solution for this?
