Set Chrome Flag

Hi all,

hopefully someone of you already did it and can help:

We want to set a Chrome Flag (https://web.dev/nfc/#use)(--enable-experimental-web-platform-features or chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features)

How to set it via Mobicontrol? I don't see any possiblity to set it in the application settings in application catalogue rule but maybe i have overseen that.

When i set it on Windows/Android i get this as a part of the chrome://local-state/:

{"browser":{"enabled_labs_experiments":["enable-experimental-web-platform-features"]}}

Is this what i have to enter into Configuration URI?
It's hard to Test because Chrome is already part of a application catalogue rule, wo i don't know if this will make problem setting this in a second rule for same device.

If you are using Chrome deployed via Managed Google Play store for Android-Enterprise device, you can keep an eye on whether the latest chrome app include any AppConfig compliant parameter(s) to set the flags of interest to you.  All parameters supported will be listed in the chrome app entry of the associated app-catalog rule.

Hmm, i didn't saw a parameter there which could compare to what we want to do :(

If so, contact support from Google Chrome to ask about possible configuration URI or request them to add related AppConfig parameter(s) in future Chrome version.

If there would be some kind of real support contact-.-

There's only "FAQ", "Community" and "Feedback". I tried now over Feedback. Let's see if there comes a message back from them.

I didn't found a solution to set this flag but it will be set by default in Chrome Version 89 which will be released 02.03.2021.

So we will wait for this release.

I can't mark my own Post as solution, so this will be stay open -.-
