Outlook Mobile App - Shows Black when Remote Controling

Good Morning,

We are switching our users over to Outlook Mobile App. However I have noticed that when I remote into devices that the app will not appear on the screen. If the user closes the app I get to see the other apps.

Server - 15.2

Devices:  Samsung S7 thru Samsung S10e

OS: 8 up to 11

Agents - Various  13.6 up to 14.5.5

Hi Jason,

Thank you for posting in SOTI Central.

This is a likely security feature of Microsoft Outlook, there is a way for apps to toggle a setting so that when a device is remotely controlled, the app will appear blank/black for the remote user. Also, just checked the Managed App Config for Outlook and there isn't a way to disable this, unfortunately.

The primary purpose is for security and data protection and is an inbuilt Android feature.
