Hi,

I have a simple Android Lockdown with one app, one PDF document, and one movie file.

The application have it's own icon, but the files are listed only with their names.

And I mainly ask, because without icons, the Lockdown items are not alined vertikaly and horizontaly.

How can I add some custom images to be used as icons for the PDF and movie file?

There is a dropdown menu, but what is the source of the listed icons?

And what file format/size the icons have to be?

You can upload your own image as an icon if you want by clicking on the displayed icon image. Your image will then be included in that list for future lockdown usage.

Great, Thank you!

I didn't realize the image next to the drop-down menu is clickable.

And I feel stupid right now. :)

Well,

It actually didnt worked.

Maybe the icons were not the right size and format, I dont know...

I had to edit the html template in order to make the icons work.

With icon files already uploded on the device

If you have custom icon for a particular kiosk item, you have to MANUALLY modify the corresponding <MCExeIcon#>" item to  <MCDISP#> if you use/modify from the default html template from Soti, though it is possible to embed smarter javascript codes to make AUTOMATIC choice of using <MCExeIcon#>" or <MCDISP#> depending on whether any custom image is referenced for each kiosk item.
