How do you allow Apple Wallet in the Apple Policy on Soti MobiControl so users can use Wallet on their managed device?

Please provide more details on the current mode and policies deployed on your targeted devices, and about your use case.   E.g.

Are the devices supervised?

Are the wallet to be associated with personal bank/credit-card account or with corporate account in which employee (i.e. the device end-user) can use to pay exclusively for items for corporate/work-related use?  

Do you allow personal Apple ID to be added on your targeted devices( presumably corporate-owned devices)?

Has there been any AD/LDAP/IdP integration & related authentication policies deployed onto the targeted devices?

Yes the devices are supervised.

Are the wallet to be associated with personal bank/credit-card account or with corporate account in which employee (i.e. the device end-user) can use to pay exclusively for items for corporate/work-related use?  

The bank cards users are wishing to add to Apple Wallett are personal cards.

Do you allow personal Apple ID to be added on your targeted devices( presumably corporate-owned devices)?

No, all Apple IDs are company IDs created via Apple Business manager, and yes they are company owned devices.

Has there been any AD/LDAP/IdP integration & related authentication policies deployed onto the targeted devices?

Polices applied are the default polices from SOTI MobiControl.

When I try to access Apple Wallet on the managed phones I get the message "Restrictions Enabled, certain apps, features or services can't be seen or used when restyrictions are on. To use this app, turn restrictions off."

Any help would be most appreciated.

I personally have tried using Apple Wallet myself, but I am doubtful about the possibility of adding personal card on an Apple device with no personal AppleID.

Have you done any test on your company-owned device to allow adding personal AppleID first?  In your test, make sure to add a personal AppleID before running and setting up Apple Wallet.   If there is still problem, please share more test results (messages, screenshots, logs, etc.)

Hi

It's not just adding a bank card, we can't add anything to Apple Wallet, items such as Event Tickets, Airline Boarding Passes, Visitor Passes, Vaccinations etc... 

And it is not down to personal or company held Apple IDs, our directors can't add their business Credit Cards.

The mesage is "Restrictions Enabled, Certain apps, features or services can't be seen or used when Restrictions are on. To use this app, turn Restrictions off."

How do I turn Restrictions off in SOTI MobiControl, and what are the consequences?

Have you tried to Allow Modifying Restrictions from the Feature Control profile? 

Would you like to check in Apple Business Manager if you can allow access to apple wallet from there?

I can't see any setting in Apple Business Manager relating to Apple Wallet, and on SOTI the Allow Modifying Restrictions in Feature Control is already turned on, I did find the below in a Apple forum which if true is very poor.

The non availability of Apple Wallet causes issues, users can't have Apple Pay, can't save Boarding Passes, can't save Event Tickets or Proof of Vaccinations, unless someone knows a workaround or an alternative App
