Fragmented Screen in Remote Control on most Honeywell Devices

Hello, I have a problem with the display of the screen in Remote Control on many Honeywell devices.

The display becomes fragmented when scrolling.

Does anyone else know the same problem and is there a solution?

what Scanner Model are you using with what Firmware Version installed?

From The Screen it looks like Android 11?

Latest Honeywell Plugin is installed over MC?

What MC Version and what Agent Version are you using ?

Plugin: 1.26.1.0

MC: 2025.0.1.1164

On CN80 Android 13 have the same behavior.

Have you tried it with another browser or in private mode? I encoutered the same issue on Honeywell devices, when using firefox (standard browser by our IT department). When using Chrome it's working better for me

Hello,
i tested it and can confirm that it works better with the Chrome browser.
The problem must be with Firefox.
I'll check whether there are any settings that can improve it.
The only strange thing is that it occurs with Honeywell devices.

Hi Marcus, what do you mean by "Downloadable Plugin (Legacy)" I just installed the "Honewell New Gen Plugin" via the packages, but with the same result. The "Honewell" plugin cannot be installed.

Hello Alfred, when you open a remote session it can be configured to ask for the way how to open the remot connection.

Option 1:

It shows a second window where you can select 

1. Web-based

2. Downloadable Plugin (Legacy)

Option2:

It is not asking and diretly open the preferred option.

-> to change this you need to go to your user in Mobicontrol on the top right side -> Preferences -> Ask me every time I start a session -> activate then you get the popup.

for the "Downloadable Plugin (Legacy)" the ports must be allowed to connect to the device.

Hi Marcus, now I understand what you meant. The Legacy Remote Plugin works very well. There are no fragments in the remote display. Thank you very much for the information.
