App autostart without lockdown and single app mode

Good morning,

I need a solution, if available, to autostart an Android app without using the lockdown and single app mode. This is because the application I'm using may have conflict issues with SOTI lockdown/single app mode which doesn't allow the device laser to work properly.

Is this possible?

Ideally, I'd like the device to boot and as soon as the desktop shows, the app starts in foreground. Below some information:

Producer: Zebra

Model: PS20J

OS: Android 8.1.0

Enrollment type: ANDROID ENTERPRISE - Work Managed Device

MobiControl version: 15.6.0.1018

Agent version: 15.3.0.1006

Hello everyone,

Thank you for posting on SOTI Central,

As mentioned by Matt, Zebra offers for its devices a tool named EHS (Enterprise Home Screen, which can be automated through an Enterprise Mobile Management (EMM) system and with direct manipulation of the EHS config file, which is documented in their Advanced Settings section.

Note: This workaround => EHS may help you with your inquiry. Please do follow the instructions as mentioned by Zebra and do some testing before implementing any changes on your production environment.
