Hi Ricky,
you mean you have on your Kisok Mode an Icon to Start Playing the Video what you are syncing to the Device may only once to the Document or other Playce on the Device?
Hi Marcus
The sync file rule pushed the video to the sd card on the required devices then the lockdown has six buttons one of which plays the video. However when its playing the end user can get th the share video link. I want the video to play once then end without any other input from the end user.
Thanks
Hi Ricky,
You may not prevent user from accessing the video player menu.
What you can do is blacklist all apps that can share the file. So, when the user tries to share, nothing appears in the available apps.
Hi Ricky,
What kind of player you are using to play this mp4 file ? Can you share the app name ?
Hi Ricky,
You can add applicition-run-control blacklist(s) to restrict all apps capable of sharing/playing the MP4 file. Once done, there won't be any option available to be displayed and chosen by device end-user even if the share button/event cannot be disabled.
If the above approach doesn't work, you might try to use an MP4 player app with no share or similar button. Make sure you explictly select such app to be the default viewer for MP4 file on each device. However, this may not work if Device Settings access is allowed and there is related entry in the UI for the end-user to change the default viewer app.
