My supervisor asked me to change, but I am not sure what the reason was.
I will talk to him to find out why he wants this and find an alternative.

Maybe he is mixing this up with the name shown in the network?
If that's the case, this can be done (for Zebra devices as an example) using OEM config app.
On Zebra Devices with current Android Versions you can also change the personalozed name.
