Is there any way to retrieve the device locations on a regular base ? or push/schedule a script to retrieve them...
I don't want to open all devices 1 by 1 to retrieve them...
Any help would be appreciated !

You need to setup a data collection rule (Policies->Data collection) then in case of Android click the Android logo (I'm on Mobicontrol 15.6.5).
Now right click on data collection and create a new one and add a new data collection rule for location data.
This should on regular base collect the data and so you see where devices are located at the last location in the device specifics location tab.
Additionally to the Data Collection you can create / schedule a report containing collected location data:
Reports > Device Reports (Flat View) > Location Collected Data
we are working on the cloud version of soti !
In the meanwhile I found how to get a report through Policies => Data Collection => Device Reports (Flat View) and then the report "Location Collected Data"
Unfortunately that doesn't give me all the devices location data ? It only gives me a few of them... while checking the location on device level it gives me the exact location....
It cant report data which was not collected.
Did you also create the collect data policy i stated before?
that part wasn't clear to me sorry.... Created a data collection now.
But when trying schedule a report I got stuck on the "from" field ?
Do I need to configure mail settings within soti I would think ?
had to configure the smtp settings.....
seem to work fine now ! Just the scheduling on collection and when sending the report..
I have all locations, but just need the last location
You may need to create a custom report then maybe to fulfill your needs.
That would require some knowledge of the database and relevant fields and so on.
(nothing i will be able to help with, sorry).
