Summary

When the 'Control Without Notification' permission is disabled, end-user devices do not receive a popup dialog box to accept a Remote Control session.

Issue Description

The 'Control Without Notification' option is not working. When unchecked and then a SOTI MobiControl user attempts to Remote Control an end user's device, a popup does not appear on the device for the end user to accept.

Environment

  • SOTI XSight 2024.0.0 and 2024.0.1
  • SOTI MobiControl 2024.0.0, 2024.0.1 and 2024.1.0
  • For SOTI MobiControl, only the above three were tested. This issue may be present on other versions too.

 

Issue Resolution

Upgrade to SOTI XSight to v2024.0.2 to resolve this issue.
