Situation

A user has attempted to troubleshoot issues with SOTI XSight but has not been able to find a solution. Follow this reinstallation process when all other troubleshooting methods have been exhausted and the user is still unable to resolve the issue.

Process Description

NOTE: The following procedure is not for users with a full or paid version of SOTI XSight for operational intelligence and incident management. 

1. Uninstall the existing SOTI XSight version. When prompted to delete RSA keys, select Yes

2. Once complete, detach and delete the existing SOTI XSight database from the server. Ensure this is done for all databases associated with SOTI XSight.

3. Check SOTI MobiControl credentials for SOTI XSight integration.

4. Obtain and run the installer for SOTI XSight on the server.

5. Ensure that credentials for SOTI MobiControl and the database are entered correctly.

6. Ensure API credentials are set to generate new ones.

7. Complete the SOTI XSight installation.
