Hi. I am currently trying to connect to our CA from Soti Connect. But we are running into an error. If I run the proxy test under "Services > Global Proxy" with the URL of the CA, then it works. We can also see this connection on the proxy. [DEBUG] [58] [Soti.IoT.ManagementServer.exe] Send Request to http://CA-SERVER/TEMPLATENAME via proxy service $PROXYSERVER:8080[DEBUG] [59] [Soti.IoT.ManagementServer.exe] Test proxy service connection: Success. However, if I then want to create a certificate or simply press the test-connection button at "Administration > Device Certificates and Templates”, we run into an error. Here we see no connection to the CA on the proxy. [ERROR] [46] [Soti.IoT.ManagementServer.exe] Fail to connect to CA server with CA template:TEMPLATENAME Any idea where the problem might lie? Important: For security reasons, the Soti Connect Server has no connection to the Internet. Best regardsHauke
Hi, I'm trying to enroll a TSC MH241T printer into Connect.Broker and MQTT are already installed. Ports are open and reachable but for some reason I can't enroll that printer.Rules are also configured in Connect. The only thing where I'm missing some information is on the printer itself.When I logon to the printer, through the webportal I need to fill in some data but not sure what to fill in. HelloI'm running into an issue when i try to create a action/group rule with a certain "wildcard" in the if statement.I've been told that this is possible, but i don't know the correct syntax. Eg:I want all the printers of level 12 to be selected and moved to another group. The issue is that the current group has also printers from another level and they are within the same subnet. So the only way of identefying a specific printer via the device name. (printer names: printer-12-01, printer-12-02, ....printer-13-01,....) With the filter in the picture above the rule does not work. I also tried with ".*-12-.*" without any luck. Are wildcards in if statements possible? if so, what's the correct syntax to be used?
I updated a TC77 with the lifeguard U138 patch for Android 10. 1- After it applied the update, the device is doing boot loop. I had to simultaneously press and hold the Power Button + Scanner Trigger + PTT button to leave it, and I had fastboot screen. 2- To leave this fastboot mode, i had to simultaneously press and hold the Power Button + Scanner Trigger + sound down button to leave. After reboot, it it is asking for the password for android. These devices were never setup with a passcode or password.

Hi Team,We have been working on our dev net instance with DMZ to split out the FS. These are the steps we took: Upgrade connect 2.4.0 to 2.4.1 We wanted the DMZ to be the only stand along FS server as its visible from both LAN and WAN We removed FS from LAN facing server (server 1) We tried to install FS on server 2 (DMZ) but it also asked us to install MS also? When reaching the end of the installer config it is also asking us for an admin password meaning a brand new MS? It failed with error (the error was related to SQL permission but the user is correct). Even with the MS selected we are running into some connectivity issues which are not network related/ permissions (already confirmed as we have previously used this user). I then re-attemptmed this: Remove all signs of Connect from Server 1 and Server 2 (DMZ) Re-install connect with machine FQDN no LB address with all components including FS (server1) Server 2, tried to install FS only, still prompted as before to install MS and LS with FS. Then failed with permissions. I am pointing it to the same DB location. Isit failing because its installing server 2 as a brand new install separate from MS1? It asks me for admin password Our questions are: Do we need to have a the Ms and the FS on server 1 and then install on number 2? Then remove MS from number 2? We were under the assumption the FS was separate so why do we need a new MS etc? The thought was there was no dependancy on the MS. We are using the Fs doc but it doesn’t help here. Do we have any set instruction/ guidelines and screenshots on how to set this up as a true independent service? Not bundled in with the MS/ LS? Regards,
