HI, Has anyone had any issues using the SOTI Stage Programmer App with Samsung Devices. I've installed this app from the Play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.soti.mobicontrol.programmer&hl=en_GB Its seems to work great and, installs great with devices straight out of the box, installs the mobi agent and enrols the device. I can view the device in SOTI, remote, wipe etc...however when I apply a profile simply nothing happens. I previously thought it may be that it installs the latest version and our console was on an earlier version, however after a recent upgrade to V 14.0 of our console it made no difference. The only difference seems to be that when we manually install we use the Samsung ELM version. Any thoughts or experience with this app?
Hi All Android devices have hostnames like android-552ce9e60fd098c7. I can confirm this with adb shell: netprop net.hostname I used the api query GET /devices/{deviceId}. But the attribute "HostName" is the ip address instead of the hostname. Is there a way to read the correct hostname through the api? Thank you and best regards Markus

Hey hello everyone 1- the first one is about location services in mobicontrol, is there any way to to make it work offline since we are using Mobicontrol in an offline facility? 2- the second question is about the Application Catalog for Android+ devices, the application can't be downloaded, it says on the error that the link isn't working but it actually is , it has been tested in the device's browser and it is working 3- is there a way to take a user/thief 's photo without them knowing about it best regards

The device is encrypted and when i try to install applications to it it says: Error message received from device (Internal storage decryption not supported) Tried to decrypt the device it but it is not possible in Android 7.1.4? Hi, I have enabled a Telecom Expense Management Rule and have a question around the data produced. I'm looking creating my own custom report for this and am querying the DB directly. When I look at the DeviceStatNetTraffic table, there are Upload and Download columns. Does anyone know what data storage type these numbers represent? I'm assuming it would be either bytes or kilobytes. For instance if I look at the query below, I have a piece of data for the Soti Surf app collected over an 8 hr period. If I assume that the values in the Upload and Download columns are kilobytes of data, I would have a total of 22.4MB of upload and 324.6MB of download for an 8 hr period for just Soti Surf. This seems high to me based on the websites that are allowed in our whitelist so I want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. Is there a way to use soti to tell a device to check for an OS update and install it?
I recently setup a telecom expense management rule to monitor data usage across our Samsung Tab E Android devices. I pushed out the rule to a group of the devices I want to monitor but found a user must activate the setting manually on the tablet. I pushed this out to a couple hundred devices in vehicles where we do not want the user to have to do this manually. Is there anyway I can programmatically make these changes?

We have Blackberry KeyOne devices that was setup with AFW#MOBICONTROL, managed device setup. Issue: Bluetooth contact sharing is greyed so users does not have contacts list on their car. It is greyed out even before it's enrolled. Same after enrollment. We do not have this issue with Google Pixel with same setup.
