    Breaking out of lockdown (offline)

    Hi All, I have a locked down google app. The only way for me to break out of the device is to revoke the profile. Is there anyway for me to access the device without revoking the lockdown?

    changing the logoImage in lockdown mode

    Dear community, I was wondering if someone knows how you could change the logo in the Dynamic Android Template. I have tried to change it using the logo and logoImage keywords in the #header section, but that didn't work. My current configuration is: /* HEADER BACKGROUND COLOR */         #header {             background-color: #0099d3 !important;             logoImage:url("<MCImg_Momo text logo (XL).jpeg>");         }

    Default launcher on Panasonic FZ-S1

    Hello, Recently we started using Panasonic FZ-S1 Android 10 tablets. We've installed the v14.5.3.1017 OEM specific MobiControl device agent and the corresponding plugin and everything seems to be responding fine. We're using a profile with a lockdown and an authentication password. And now when you reboot the device it's got problems with deciding which default launcher it should use. The screen is on and active but stays black. After a while, it warns that MobiControl is unresponsive and gives the options to either wait or close MobiControl. Waiting for MobiControl to work just keeps resulting in the same error, but if you close it down it offers the option to select another launcher: Quickstep, Panasonic Enterprise Launcher, or MobiControl. Only if you select Quickstep (which is the 'normal' default launcher), the tablet responds and shows its normal screen. If you select MobiControl, you end up in the same errors as mentioned before. That's not what we want though, we'd like to have MobiControl show it's lockdown screen. Only if you select Quickstep and choose to "always" use it as its default launcher and then re-open MobiControl, it'll show its lockdown screen and will work properly untill you reboot the device. Does anybody have an idea what we could do about this? Kind regards, Theun SchellekensMobiCoach B.V.

    Mobicontrol v13.4 Android 11 compatibility

    Can anyone verify if Mobicontrol v13.4 supports Android 11 devices? We're currently running a mix of 7.1 and 8.1 Android devices. One of our sites is pressed for devices and are looking at Zebra TC72s running Android 11. We're unsure if there are any upper limits on what Mobi v13.4 supports. I don't foresee any issues with Android 11 devices using the same AFW profiles that our 8.1 devices use, but it's always nice to get a confirmation.

    Android 11 Folder Permissions - Zebra Solved

    Hello Community, since we Updated our Zebra Devices (MC3300x and TC52) we can't access the /sdcard/Android/data Folder. It seerms that it's a "feature" of Android 11. My problem is that we are using Wavelink Velocity. The Config Files (.wldep) are stored in /sdcard/Android/data/com.wavelink.velocity/files When I try to push the files with Soti or also Stagenow to the device I get an error, cause I have no permissions to access the folder. The devices are enrolled in Android enterprise mode. Is anybody in the same situation or have a solution? Thanks for your help and creative ideas! Best regards Julian

    Error description list for errors in MC logs?

    I couldn't find what I'm looking for in documentation or forum search. Does anyone have a list that describes the error codes produced in the device log reports under Mobi-Control? For example, I have one scanner producing a consistent "Error sending message (Error sending message (type=23), General communication error)". Wondering what may be causing that and if there's a list with the other producible error codes and their descriptors. Thank you in advance!!

    Datalogic - OEMConfig

    There's not a lot of OEMConfig documentation out there that I've been able to find.  One basic question that I have, specifically for Datalogic, is if Android Enterprise enrollment is required or if the OEMConfig advanced configs can still be used with Android classic?

    Issue opening files in lockdown mode

    Weird one. Using Soti MobiControl 15.2.6.1006, Android Enterprise with agent 15.0.0.1110 in lockdown mode. We use an app that downloads a PDF file but can't open it, we get "No application available to view this file type". The app has storage permissions and downloads the file and then tries to open it and fails. When it downloads the file, its name is a date/time and no file extension. There are apps installed to handle PDF files. When I looked into it I thought it could be because the file doesn't have an extension but when I reset this device and set it up again without mobicontrol the app works correctly and opens the very same PDF file with no extensions Any thoughts? Don't know much about Android development, the key might be finding how does Android handle a request to open a file without an extension? Could it be through a system app that is not available under lockdown?EDIT: the PDF apps are whitelisted under lockdown.

    System UI has stopped

    Hi! I have been testing with Handheld Nautiz X41 and MobiControl. When I restart the device I get an System UI has stopped / System UI keeps stopping -error message. I think it's caused by the lockdown screen that prevents the UI opening/doing something. Is there a solution for this problem? Everything else works great.

    Download Folder In File System Manager

    Hi, I have a configuration file sync upload from the device to the server, and the files we sync quite a lot. How can we download the file directly in one folder, not one file at a time because it will take a long time?
