When trying to install a new on-prem server with MobiControl 15.4.1 Build 4828 on a Microsoft Server 2019, where the DB is located on a separate Server 2016 with SQL Server 2016 SP3 we face an error during the installation phase. All System Requirements are verified to be met according to the help section area (Link) Error seen on the installation Wizard and part of the log seen below. We are investigating upgrading our fleet of devices. Previously we have used a third party app to automatically answer phone calls from contacts and turn speaker phone on. In Android 11 all the apps I have investigated so far are unable to turn the speaker phone on automatically. Does anyone have any tips to help achieve this? The units are connected to a bluetooth peripheral that is not a headset so I cannot set auto answer via tablet settings. Unfortunately it is not feasible for the operators to take their eyes off the road to turn speaker phone on. We are using Galaxy Tab Active Tab 3 with Android 11.
In after AE enrollment some times the android identity is not assigned and we are getting an error Error message received from device (Managed Google Play Account Status:'PLAY_STORE_NOT_FOUND') I have given a command for reset command and checkin also but same issue.
Hi, We need to disable private mac address for our wireless profiles for iPadOS but I can't seem to find the setting. May I know is this possible by SOTI? If I look at Wi-Fi MDM settings from apple, it seems that setting can be tuned. Do I need to write a custom profile for it? Grateful if anyone can advise on the matter, thank you. Although Camera Enable switch is set on, Soti Surf does not take this camera permission into account. A user has to allow camera manually every time a webpage accesses the camera. At Safari, there are three options at the Settings: Ask, Disable and Enable. Ones it is enabled, Safari stops showing the prompt. (Surf only has two options - Disable and Enable).
I am looking for a good method to enroll my ZEBRA VC8300 terminal to a SOTI Mobicontrol console. Currently my method does not seem optimized, after a FactoryReset, I pass all the first steps manually (human action) Once started under the "Home" Android menu, I have to activate the serial port of the machine from the APP "VC Setting" in order to use a scanner and thus the StageNow application to finish my enrollment. The two problems that block the usual method, from the first menu after a FactoryReset : The Google enrollment menu (7 taps from the start menu) does not seem to work, due to the fact that the machine does not have a camera. If I connect a scanner in USB, the reading of the QrCode "ByPass GMS Setup Wizard" which allows me to pass the first steps and launch StageNow does not work. an idea?

I have upgraded the agent on a test device to v15.0.1.1051 (Samsung ELM). I have a lockdown on it that was working fine before the upgrade. By working fine I mean it worked as expected, I can also press and hold on "back" and I would be prompted for a code and I could disable the lockdown. Since upgrading to v15.0.1.1051 when I long press on back I get a pop-up "Actions" with "Administrator" and "Refresh". I would expect pressing "Administrator" would prompt for the passcode and would allow me admin access to the devic. However when I press "Administrator" I get a pop-up at the bottom with the heading "Complete action using" and in a white block below that it says "No apps can perform this action". I am then unable to disable the lockdown while on the device. What is going on and how do I fix it. I'm guessing I need to assign an app that will work when I try to disable user mode but I can't see where or how to do it.
Hello, I am looking for a volume control on a zebra MC33 device. I already installed the soti settings manager, but i cannot change the volume with it. It only mutes the device when the slider is all the way to the left. Also the writesecuresetting script is not working. Any ideas ? Thanks
Hello, by using one web app in Surf We'd like to optimize it for a touch display. Can be in Surf used some user custom css / "css inject" feature to set the default style? unfortunately we are not allowed to modify the application at all.. thanks Tomas
One of our new guys has deleted one of our device groups and with it all the devices allocated to that group. Is there a way to recover the devices or group from the console?
We have a number of Samsung Phones (A20e) that we are running in KIOSK mode, I am wanting to let the device use the phone app and have added an entry in the policy that I believe should allow the phone app to run: launch://com.samsung.android.dialer The phone app is there and you can enter a phone numbewr, but it will not allow it to dial and connect, this works on our other devices running as AndroidPlus devices Is there another setting that needs entering somewhere?

Hello, i'm creating my own tile, the issue i'm facing is that actually i cannot make it to be displayed because i used the following script: writesecuresetting -sec sysui_qs_tiles wifi,bt,rotation,flashlight,location,nfc that script allowed me to block some tiles for the user not to make mistakes How can i get rid of that former setup?
