Have you checked whether those devices in the deleted group have all already been unenrolled from your MobiControl system.  This should be the case under normal circumstance, except for those devices that remain powered off or offlne from the MobiControl server ever since the device group was deleted.

Even if such offline device does exist,  MobiControl server should have already deleted the device and released their associated device licenses back to the pool.   As you are not Soti internal experts and do not know details of the database schema and database table usage,  you cannot do anything to add back devices in a recreated device group without the devices going through the normal re-enrollment process.

As your problem should have occured more than 9 hours from now,  I don't think it makes sense to try falling back your MobiControl database, as you might lose configurations/logs related to other devices/events that happened in the 9-hour or longer period, and thus make the overall problem even worse.  If you do such database fallback PROPERLY a handful of minutes right after the device group removal,  you still can at most only save those devices that remain offline during whole incident.  Trying so properly also needs relevant expertise to avoid making thing worse, and I think you can forget this approach in your current case.
