Hello Everyone, I would like to lower the amount of space taken up on our SOTI server. While deleting old versions of packages, I'm wondering if I can delete an older version of a profile. I found out that if I choose an old version of a profile and click delete, it still deltes the whole profile. Any ideas?
Hello all, We sent in a device for repair, and it had to be factory reset during the process. Trying to unenroll/delete the device from the Web Console does not work. It falsely shows the device as Active, and when I try to initiate a command, the error I receive is "1 device(s) have no user access rights to execute this action". Under (Global Settings -> MobiControl Search Sync Interval) I tried to force a sync, which seemed to help other administrators, but it did not yield any success on our end. The end goal is to delete this false-active device, and re-enroll it properly into the system. This is an Android device if that makes any difference. Thank you in advance!
One of our new guys has deleted one of our device groups and with it all the devices allocated to that group. Is there a way to recover the devices or group from the console?
Hi everyone,we have two SAMSUNG devices in the MC console (although it really are the same device) that we cannot delete. When the screen is refreshed, they reappear offline. Can I remove them by editing some table in the database? Our MC versión is 15.1.5 build 1005 Regards
Hi all, we have found following problem: We set a device pin with script during device enrollment. Now something strange/bad is happening. If the device is locked (standby etc.) and you delete the device in Soti. The device gets a rollback (correct). But if you now want to unlock the phone, it's impossible because the pin request is still there but no Pin will be accepted. In my opinion there should be only 2 cases: - old Pin or - no Pin request
Trying to automate device deletion on 13.4 using the invoke-restmethod API script provided here (which currently works for me for folder/group creation) https://discussions.soti.net/thread/using-powershell-to-make-api-calls/ I can currently delete the deviceID via API rest interface, with no issues: Curl: curl -X DELETE --header -Authorization: Bearer XYZ123 Request URL: https://servername:443/MobiControl/api/devices/DEVICEID Response Body: no content Response Code: 204 However when trying to use the same 'Invoke-RestMethod' method to delete the same Request URL, I receive a message of 'The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send'. Can someone from SOTI confirm what the correct syntax should be for a request like this?
