Issue: currently most devices connected to server 1. 5000+ only about 400 devices connect to server 2. I try to configure deployment server pirority for a child folder which has about 200 devices. try to force them connect to server 2 only - override settings Inherited from parent group "xxxx" I have set the child folder override setting from parents, and set server 1 priority = 2 and server 2 priority = 1. But after apply the settings, still no luck, devices rebooted but still connect to server 1.
hello there. we recently deleted some devices from mobicontrol, but he license still take place. how to claim back these license? what is the difference between unenroll vs delete devices. thank you in advance
We are currently using Zebra MC93 in Lockdown Mode with Zebra Enterprisebrowser.As the Zebra MC93 have a Hardware Keyboard we don't need the onscreen Keyboard and would like to disable it.The integrated Gboard has the option to disable but this doesn't stay disabled after a Reboot or Battery change.Is there any way to disable it from SOTI side?I already tried this script i found in a different Forum-Post but it didn't help...writesecuresetting -sec show_ime_with_hard_keyboard 0
Hello, I have mobicontrol on version v14.4.9. we have a lot of device Zebra TC75X enrolled with android + these devices are connected with a private APN all works fine. Now, for some reason i would like to add a proxy on these device for to contact a public web site. it's possible to add the proxy with soti mobicontrol profile > no problem but after the agent lost the connexion on the mobicontrol server ... device is disconnected I've look on the doc of soti https://soti.jp/mc/help/v14.3/en/console/reference/dialogs/profiles/androidplus/profile_apn_androidplus.html And it will be possible to add some exception ... But i have the version v14.4.9 and i can't find this setting inside the profile android + .. someone can tell me how to add exception of an private APN ? thanks for help
The devices are in lockdown mode so the users cannot access the play store. I need to install the home depot app on the scanners for users to look up part numbers. I can't find the APK file for it but it's on the google play store. Is there a way to have the app install on the scanners and be pushed out?
Hello, I am tasked with updating Android on our CT60 devices (currently on android 7.1.1, trying to update to android 9). Since we have 60+ devices in different locations, we need to be able to update remotely and automatically. According to Honeywell, the recommended way to automate this is to upload a Provisioner.xml file from their EZConfig software with the below "Source">/storage/IPSM/Honeywell/autoinstall/AndroidUpdate.zip "Action">InstallOta Where the AndroidUpdate.zip is an OTA file file synced to the device. However, there are three main issues with this process. 1. File sync does not work on our Honeywell devices when they are set to "User Mode" (general failure) 2. The recommended way to run the provisioner file is: sendintent -b "intent:#Intent;action=com.honeywell.ezconfig.intent.action.IMPORT_XML;S.path=/storage/IPSM/Provisioner.xml;launchFlags=0x0000020;end" However, this script seems to do nothing regardless of if the device is in user or admin mode. 3. Most important issue, once the device is updated (can manually launch the above update .xml via a barcode generated from EZConfig software), the devices is unenrolled from mobicontrol, and the wireless sign in information is forgotten, and the device is disconnected from our network. So I am wondering if there is an easier way to get these devices updated, or if there are any suggestions. I have worked with Soti tech support, and collected full ADB logs of this process, but have not made much progress on it, so I was wondering if anyone might have some ideas.
Hello, I have looked through SOTI documentation and other forum posts but have been unable to find information on if it's possible to mass-entroll or auto enroll Windows devices into SOTI. For example I have dozens of PC's I need to get into our SOTI server. I could browse to the URL and download the agent that way, manually. Or I can transfer the exe program to it, and run it. I was thinking of trying to do this through GPO but you can't deploy applications as an .exe there, have to be msi. Is the .exe enroll package able to be run by command line? I tried enroll.exe /? and -?, as well as /silent -silent /verysilent -verysilent but it never worked. Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks.
Hello everyone. We use V 15.1.2.1035 of mobicontrol and since last week, we encounteer a huge problem. All our devices are Datalogic Memor 10 Since last Thursday , every new enrolled device stay stuck in enrollement answering this error Enrollement Managed Google Play Account Status:'EMPTY_TOKEN I've opened a case to SOTI Yesterday and got contact after multiple Call with someone at English support. This person tried to help, but since i've also got an error on some device saying that Agent can't be updated Invalid device software version (Device is not allowed to upgrade) I've called back this morning, and the person i had on phone said that French support should call me back in 30 min to solve that...it was 3h30 Ago... (We are from Belgium so basically French support seemed to be the most appropriate) Device are stuck and the problem is getting worse every day. Hope someone can Help me here maybe...
Hello, we have a device which has the Google services installed but the manufacturer added a custom setup wizard which does not show the GMS setup wizard and it's not possible to enroll the device as fully managed. Is there a way to setup the device as device owner?The device has Android 9 installed.
Hello community, does anyone know the issue that the Google managed account gets no token?In the logs i receive the message: Error message received from device Zebra MC93 (Managed Google Play Account Status:'EMPTY_TOKEN Got response but there was no token!') In the Mobicontrol App i only receive the message that i need to complete the configuration for your Work Profile. I am running MobiControl version 15.3.1.1151 Till now i did the following steps: Deleted the managed Google account and added another Google managed account Created a new rule with a complete new Google managed account Deleted all accounts in SOTI Enterprise Binding Checked if all ports are open: https://support.google.com/work/android/answer/10513641?hl=en&utm_source=google&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=android_enterprise_april_nl&utm_content=help_center Nothing helped and the support Case (C00480403) has no solution yet. Does anyone has an idea how to solve the issue?

Hi all, Recently in v15 we got new feature that really ncie in Group Detail Location (my MC version is 15.3.0.6711). We can see location of devices in 1 group. One question about this feature, why the location map didn't update itself? I check the Location but 1 device seems not update, i should check curent location myself and after that the location update in map. Is there any method to keep the device location updated automatically everytime we check the group detail location? Thanks & regards, Randy
Having issues with setting up the intent/using Google Chrome to kiosk our web site. It is giving me a blank screen. Here is what I am using so far. I created a Kiosk Profile with Web Filter, Lockdown, and Authentication. Web Filter section I have the website of the Sharepoint site Lockdown section I have this entry (browsers://*.sharepoint.com) and the option to startup automatically at startup. I also have tried these three intent scripts w/o success: Intent://YOURURL#Intent;scheme=https;package=com.android.chrome;end Intent://YOURURL#Intent;scheme=http;action=android.intent.action.VIEW;component=com.android.chrome;end <intent:https://YOURURL#Intent;action=android.intent.action.VIEW;end> Anyone have a suggestion for me?
We are currently trying to automate the release process using the MobiControl API and we've encountered an issue where the Configurations in a Profile get lost when a new Profile Version is created via MobiControl/api/profiles/{referenceId}/packages Our automation process is roughly like this: Get a token.Send POST to MobiControl/api/tokenThis works. Upload a new version of our appSend POST to MobiControl/api/packagesThis works. Retrieve the Packages list for the Profile we want to updateSend GET to MobiControl/api/profiles/{$profileReferenceId}/packagesThis works. Update the Profile, using the list from the step before and updating our app version number to the latest but leaving other packages as isSend PUT to MobiControl/api/profiles/{$profileReferenceId}/packagesThis works BUT we cannot set the Profile Configurations and they do not seem to get copied like when we do this manually in MobiControl WebConsole by doing Edit on a Profile. Assign the Profile to a Device Group to push out the latest version of the appSend PUT to MobiControl/api/profiles/{$profileReferenceId}/assignment So this leaves us with some questions: - Is this a bug where the Profile Configurations don't get copied over to a new Version when using the API? - Is there any way to set the Profile Configurations using the API?
