Hello, We have Soti Instances one runing windows devices and another Managing Android Enterprise devices, This was done simply as we wanted to start clean with the android devices, my Idea now is to migrate the windows devices to the new Soti server running on the same version 14.7. firstly Would you recommend this and secondly can this be done via a script ?
These are rugged Zebra and Panasonic scanner devices. The profile would automate the tethering between these devices and Apple iPads. Version 14.4.9 of MC.

I would like to find a way without building a folder for each device model to apply the remote control skin to it. With our Zebra MC3300's the Auto Skin works but with Samsung devices the auto skin does not work. I looked at doing a virtual group but you cannot apply a skin to a virtual group. We currently have a lot of Samsung Tab Active 2 and Samsung Tab active pro devices and they all reside in the same folders within site groups. It would be nice if there was either a way to get Auto Skin updates or to be able to assign a skin based on device model.
Hello. We have MC 14.4 OnPremise and some Samsung Tab A6 (Android 8.1.0, AE, COBO, afw#mobicontrol) enrollment. For a few days we have realized that all devices have "Agent Outdated (Upgrade Required)" icon.The agents version are between 13.7.5.103 and 14.1.8.111 If we start the agent upgrade from the web page, the warning "Invalid device software version (Device is not allowed to upgrade)" appears. All devices allow remote control, but we can't manage any profile/package (Install/Removal Pending). I can't even remove LockDown. I have a deployment out of control completely. Any idea, please.
We have 3x Sahara Clevertouch Smart Screens & would like to know if MobiControl would firstly enroll, and then control them. We can't find an agent to download under Sahara or Clevertouch. Is there a generic or custom agent to use to start testing on devices like these?
Hello Support Staff, as stated in this article https://discussions.soti.net/kb/upcoming-change-in-firewall-settings-for-soti-services , there will be some new adresses that have to be whitlisted. Can you elaborate what those new adresses are for: --NEW ADDRESSES-- 13.248.157.19 76.223.23.230 75.2.25.8 99.83.149.241 Do They have to be whitelisted only for the server or also for clients etc.? What is the use for each of the adresses or what are mandatory and voluntary for MobiControl to work properly (i.e. Skins-Services).
It is extremely hard to assign a profile to specific devices in a large container if we are not able to sort the devices by name. The devices appear in random order and there is no visible method to sort.
Hi,Does someone know is it possible to disable persist settings for soti after resetting device?Right now they are interfering with my zebras persist settings and i would like for them to be first one to be implemented.Alternative would be to remove agent with stage now xml, but as client is set as device admin, i was not successful.I also tried deleting xml files in /enterprise/usr/mobicontrol before reset, but it still kept settings after reset.
Hello, I am unable to power off my Android 9 (Samsung Galaxy A50 devices) in our new Soti platform (V.15). Our devices are now Android Enterprise, and the scripts we have been sending are not supported. Does anybody know of anyway we can remotely turn off the devices. Thanks, ECM
Hello, I have downloaded MobiControl Agent for Top System device (Lydia) and installed. When I start it, give the server adress, then comes certificate error an no connection. Do I have to use a MCSetup.ini file from somewhere or something ? Many thanks! Michal
Hi, We decommission old devices off the Soti server. We wipe, unenroll and delete them. We need to stop these devices from being enrolled again or with permission from an administrator. Is this possible. Regards,
Hi, We are currently testing some Honeywell CT40 devices (android 9 OS) The device have a SIM card with data, but during enrollment it couldn't contact our Mobi server. As soon as I put it on wifi it connected to it and enrolled. I've also verified in the Mobi app, when you remove the Wifi and turn into network data there's SSL handshake errors and it get's disconnected. The server is currently running with a SHA-1 certificate. We are expecting to update this soon, as were updating our fleet of devices. Why there isn't SSL handshakes errors on Wifi and only on network data ? Thanks,

I use Mobistage Setup and create XML File to use with MX Script on SOTI Mobixontrol 2. I want to use MX Script as Profile Enrollment step because of when ZEBRA ET51 have been enrolled to Mobicontrol server and got XML FILE (from Mobistage) via File Sync rules 3.
