Hi,Using a device enrolled as Android Enterprise; When enrolling the device tries to get a Google Account but the kiosk is locking the device down before the device completes getting a Google Account.This means that when in the Kiosk there is a message at the top of the screen saying "user action pending" and I can't use the Application Catalog. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi. In our company we have mobile phones enrolled as Managed Devices.We want to make backup copies of the devices. For this process, we use Smart Switch. But it is not possible, Smart Switch indicates that the device does not accept the file transfer.Through the windows file explorer I can, and in the control of features, I have the USB transfer options enabled.Anyone use any program to make a copy of Device to PC?
Currently running MobiControl 14.3.4.1087. In previous versions of MobiControl my organization was able to set the max timeout allowed for the devices as a part of our profile configuration. I am trying to configure a new profile and I cannot seem to find this setting. Does anyone else have this issue or know the solution?
Hello, I've been looking around the forums for a solution but haven't really found anything that describes what I want to do despite the many questions about the device naming macros. The main thing I want to do is update the %AUTONUM% macro to start at a given number. Other things could maybe be that I want the %SERIALNUM% to only show the last 4 characters/digits of the serial number or something. We were told that the macros could be customized somehow but I can't find any info on how to do it or what the limits are or anything. I know the AUTONUM starting at a specific number is the main one we want to do. If it is possible to customer these macros, I would appreciate any info or any pointers to find that info. hello, i have update our mobi control installation today to version 14.4.4... since i have updatet the console it's not possible to change the filter criteria on nearly all profiles. when i click to filter criteria the console is still loading and loading and loading but nothing happens. any idea ? thx mark

I’m trying to create a file sync rule, with purpose to send out files to android devices. On an earlier Soti Mobicontrol instance, in the add file sync rule wizard a "browse" option for adding files is available I do not see that now When going to “Servers” > “Global setting” on the earlier instance I have “File System Manager”. That open “File Manager” I do not see this now How do I fix this? For seeing where stuff get placed, I’ve added a file sync rule that fetched file from device, it got placed at C:\Windows\System32\%ROOT% I prefer that I can handle file sync rules from the web console. Any hints?
Hi there, maybe someone has made this already and can say me if its possible before i spend many time to test it. We have many Device (Zebra TC51) and they're all in different Networklocations. So if we want to Update them, there would be a really massive data traffic for the server and the local Networks. The idea is, to send the update to a PC, which is in the specified Networklocation and the device download the updatefile from this pc. So the traffic would be only one time (server to pc, which will be made with another tool) and not for every device in the locations. Is this possible for the filesync rule?

We deploy a homegrown APK along with a few configuration files in a profile created using MC Studio. In order for the device to be set up for first use, a series of events takes place within the app that updates a configuration file. Our development team is wanting to know if we can simply reinstall an APK while leaving the stored files untouched. I have found it possible using ADB: https://developer.android.com/studio/command-line/adb#pm Does SOTI support ADB commands or is there a way to accomplish this? Instalation status is "uninstalled" even if app is installed on devices and devices has already check-in many times. We were wating for 2,3days but it is still "uninstalled". How can I reflect device's actual installation status?

i'm a newbie in soti, how do i find what profile is assigned to a device group? when i move a device from one group to another the device goes into lock down once it checks in in the 2nd group...

When applying a catalog rule to deploy a Modern Enterprise Application, there is a checkbox to "Provision the application for all users of a device". I cannot get this to install the app for Any users. The log and Application tab of the device show the app as "Provisioned", but it is not installed. If this box is left unchecked, it seems to install to the user who is logged in on the computer. MobiControl Version 14.4.3.1153
