iOS WiFi Profile - Cisco QoS Fastlane Policy

Is there (or will there be in the near future) the ability to apply the Cisco QoS Fastlane payload? In the Apple Configuration Profile Reference (https://developer.apple.com/business/documentation/Configuration-Profile-Reference.pdf) it shows the "QoSMarkingPolicy" key, but I don't see anything in the MobiControl documentation about it. I know I can build a custom profile (and it should work) but it would be nice if I didn't have to.

Problems if Chrome in blacklist Android 8.1 Solved Locked

Hello I would like to know if you have experienced an issue I'm having when Chrome is in a black list of apps, in Android 8.1 devices (Android Enterprise managed device) I have a lockdown profile working as expected. But when I configure a profile with an app run control black list that includes Chrome browser, the device screen turns white and the icons are not shown. If I remove the app run control, the lockdown is shown normally. It seems like you may not have Chrome (com.android.chrome) in a black list in Android 8.1 when using lockdown. Mobicontrol 14.3 AE Agent 13.6.0.1928 I appreciate your comments

Is there a way to suppress the Certificate Expiration warning pop-up at console login?

My current SSL cert is expiring on 7/12/2019 (3 months from now), and at every login each user is now getting the Certificate Expiration warning message.  Is there a way to stop this warning from popping up at each logon for all users?  We have clients that login to our Mobi instance to access their devices, so this is not something them or a standard user needs to see.  I am getting constant support tickets opened as they think there is an issue with the console.  Looking for a way to either stop this warning or only force it to show for users that are Administrators. Thanks

MobiControl (14.3) On-Premise (DMZ) installation. Want to enroll Android devices via external (firewalled) network

Port 5494 and 443 have been forwarded from the firewall to the server, but the devices fail enrollment (No connection)!? I try to enroll Zebra TC57's. I use Enterprise Agent (and plugin) downloaded from Soti's webpage. In the Admin Utility I have configured Primary Agent address with the public IP address of the firewall. Secondary Agent address is configured with the local IP address of the MobiControl server. Device Management Address holds the FQDN of the firewall. After that the add-devices rule has been created. I download the agent.apk and the mcsetup.ini to the device and install. After that the agent.apk is started. Everything looks OK until the device tries to connect. Probably basic to many of you. I have installed many on-premise systems, but enrollment has always been done via local network. Can someone help !? Thanks Jan

Filesync rules / More useability by the option of conditions

Hi, i think the filysync rules are a mighty way to handle some stuff. BUT: there are no options for conditional usage by params like software version on device side etc. - only the condition to use it on a special group which reults in some probs like the need to move devices between groups. Is soti working on extending this part ?

Soti on android devices / accessing values from build.prop

Hi, during playing arround with conditions and rules there are some cases where it would be usefull to have access to values from the /system/build.prop file as custom data cause different manufacturers are using diferent locations to identify some version strings etc. The build.prop file is a (in most cases) common file where we can pick params like os versions patch versions and so on. It would be really helpfull if soti can make it acessible for usage in custom data cause cureently only ini and xml is readable on android which would result in the need of transforming the file after for examply copy to sdcard and rewrite it. I noticed for example a custom zebra apk in the community which does exactly this - read params from build.prop and writing a file to sdcard in ini syntax (in this sample the lifeguard version). Possible an idea which can soti directy addapt to handly params like version strings etc. in a more common way not limited by the way of a manufacturer?

Soti Surf with Camera Permissions Solved

Hello all,  I am working on a tablet configuration that will access a website that is being developed by a company that we have hired. The website requires the camera in order to scan barcodes. I have a configuration set up on a Lenovo P10 device which includes AFW and a lockdown Kiosk Mode. We tried to use Chrome as our web browser but we don't want the end users to be able to access the address bar or anything else involved in the top menu. The website works in Chrome though. That is when we decided to use SOTI Surf instead. Now when we navigate to the URL, it says "Camera (no Permissions (X))" but the picture comes up. After about a day of downtime, I will try to access the same website with no picture in the picturebox. It's as if Surf has realized that it shouldn't be allowed and then blocks it. It only starts blocking it after a certain amount of time. (usually overnight). Any suggestions?

Android Enterprise On Premise Enrollment Solved

Hello, is there any possible way to enroll fully managed android enterprise devices without having the device connect to google services? We do not want to give Networks / Devices direct access to Google-Services, maybe Stagingcradles with Ethernet are possible but the best Solution for us at the moment would be direct enrollment through our on premise mobicontrol server or a dedicated mobicontrol service. And are there options next to the token identifier afw#mobicontrol to install the agent as fully managed except for nfc/barcode etc.?
