Hello, we have a new SOTI install with honeywell CT60 devices and I have provisioned 3 mandatory apps via an app catalog rule (honeywell movilizer apps and a netsuite app) for managed google play. Seemingly randomly overnight these three apps are uninstalled on a device check-in and then reinstalled at a subsequent check-in. Unfortunately this is deleting the app data as well and we're constantly having to reconfigure the apps and re-sync all data in the mornings. I've tried: enabling kiosk on some and not others thinking that has something to do with it, Leaving some on the chargers and others separate, sometimes helps other times not (I suppose based on check-in times). Leaving the app running vs not running (still gets killed). Haven't been able to discern any pattern that can give me a consistently reproducible occurrence. Hopefully missing some obvious setting. There are no logs in the mobicontrol console for the devices other than a 'device check-in' at the same time the apps are uninstalled (nothing mentioned about app catalogs etc). The apps are not being upgraded as there have been no new recent versions, and I assume an upgrade would leave data intact. Has anyone else hit issues like this with managed google play? Wanted to check here first before asking support. Looking at an ADB logcat from the devices at the time the apps are uninstalled, I can see a call to deletePackageX which seems to be related to play store upgrades but in our case the apps we're using haven't had new versions a month. The times of the removal and add are coincident with the check-in to mobicontrol. Looking for help with CT 60 Android agent enrollment. We currently have a CT 60, and I worked with SOTI Support to enroll this device. We tried many times, only to receive an “Empty Token” error. After a month of trying, the SOTI support shared there were a few open tickets with the same problem. The SOTI support finally “injected” the agent directly into the device and going through the Android + path. The help I need now is we are planning to purchase more CT 60s with in the next month and I need info on how do I enroll the new devices? Do I need to “inject” each device? Do I use an "add device rule"? Mahalo (thank you) in advance.

On the device I get the pending action to add an account, but if I click on the entry, nothing happens and in the logs I can see the following message: "Error message received from device (Managed Google Play Account Status:'EMPTY_TOKEN')"

Hi, We have 700+ devices (M3 SM10LTE) and we want to force them to work only on 2G-3G bands. Our couriers complaints that over the day the data connection (mobile data) is lost quite often and they have to restart the scanner or put it on the airplane mode. I tend to think the problem happens when the scanner switches between 3G and 4G bands and vice versa. Can we do something to force them to work like this; a script or something? Thanks in advance!

Hi, New to Mobi Control so maybe asking silly question We have 60+ Android devices which have Mobi control on them. The apps installed are all configured with Install Updates automatically, yet we have a couple of applications that have not updated to the latest version. Is there anyway which we can force these applications to update to the latest version. I have looked through this forum and the best answer I can see is to create another package and apply to a profile, But this seems silly as nothing will be modified in the package. TIA
I have started to notice the shellexecute script no longer works on Android Plus devices and this was a necessary script for multiple reasons. The old script that was being used was as follows: shellexecute chmod 777 /enterprise/usr/enterprisehomescreen.xml I have also tried the following: shell_execute chmod 777 /enterprise/usr/enterprisehomescreen.xml _chmod 777 /enterprise/usr/enterprisehomescreen.xml This command is used whenever SOTI pushes a file to a device to make sure the permissions are correct. Without it other applications that read the file do not work correctly.
Hello everyone,we currently have a problem with our devices and the google play store.When we enroll our devices we manually enter a google account. It is the same for every device.At first everything works fine and we can install the necessary apps out of the play store.After a while (not a set amount of time) you need to login again with the google account.When trying to login this time though it does not work. After "Checking info" it says:There was a problem communicating with Google servers.I analyzed the problem with our network department.There is no traffic at all when trying to connect to the google servers. The connection seems to be blocked by the device.Other Websites and apps work fine though and the traffic is visible.When using a different wifi the google login works again.In our company Wifi we use PEAP with MSCHAPV2 as second phase authentication.Furthermore we use a proxy with an auto config file.Is there any setting I could have missed or is this a problem anyone of you had before?Some further infos:Devices: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with Android+ profilesMobicontrol: 14.2.0.2894Thanks for the help
