Hi, This is current situation: - 1 Deployment Server in SOTI - 1 Apple DEP Account - 3 MDM servers in the Apple DEP Account - 1400 Devices (from multiple customers) in the 1 (and only) Deployment server. - The Deployment server is connected to 1st made MDM server in the DEP Account What I want to accomplish, I don't want to open more than 1 Deployment Server, but I do want to connect multiple MDM virtual to that Deployment server and manage all my customer's devices. Is this possible? If not, when will it be made possible, since Airwatch is offering this already?
Hi, I'm trying to configure an enrollment rule with LDAP user authentication, and it seems something went wrong. I've installed an LDAP Server (Windows Server 2012 R2) ONLY with AD LDS feature! I can't join this server to a domain, so I need to configure an AD LDS standalone service. I've configured everything as manual and I can connect and bind to LDAP server with ADSIEdit, create Group, Users, etc. With ldp.exe I'm able to bind with Windows security principal (Local Windows account) and even with AD LDS security principal (Simple), so it seems everything works fine. But, when I try to enroll a device and it asks me the user credential, I can't bind with AD LDS user (Simple) and always return Error: Wrong username or password! What am I missing? What can I do? Thanks.
Hey Everyone, When it comes to certificate renewal for CBA is it mobicontrol or exchange that is responsible to send the updated certificate to the devices? I noticed that under our Certificate Template the "Auto renewal" check box is not checked, could that be the issue? Currently when people are having authentication issues we have to revoke the CBA profile and push it again which updates the certificate but this should be done automatically. Regards, Johnathon
All of a sudden it seems that one of my devices has disappeared from the device list, if I go to Profiles and then try to assign the profile to a device group I can see that the device is enrolled in the group I am selecting and that it is active and connected..... as shown below. However, when viewing the device group the device is not shown? Seems to be quite strange behaviour, this is also stopping me from remote controlling the device. Any ideas how to resolve other than removing the device group and starting again??

Hi, We have followed the instructions for the ERG. Part of which we have bound the ERG to a new port within IIS. When installing the Soti Apps Server Extension it asks for a port. If I enter the port of the ERG, the port is already in use. The Soti Apps Servers installation states the following in relation to the port. "The port that ERG runs on. Devices connect to the ERG using this port. Using a dedicated port is recommended." Does it actually need to be the same port or a dedicated port? Thanks

Hello everybody, On various Samsung devices, we're having difficulties blacklisting the browser. Various applications have url's included in their help section or 'About'-sections. When in Lockdown user mode, even when Application Run Control is active with "com.android.chrome" and "com.sec.android.app.sbrowser" and "%browser%" blacklisted, pressing one of those url's still results in the default browser opening the page. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's Chrome or the Samsung browser, the default browser still functions when blacklisted. Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening? We're using MobiControl v14.1.4.1693, device agent v13.5.0.1327 on: Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2, SM-T395 with Android 7.1.1 and OEM NMF26X.T395XXU3ARF3Samsung Galaxy XCover 4, SM-G390F with Android 7.0 and OEM NRD90M.G390FXXU2ARA4 Thank you in advance!
I'm looking to change two settings on our TC70X Zebra Android devices. One is changing the Screen lock to None, and the second is changing Wifi Settings "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" to Always. Is there a way to do that in Soti?

Hi, I'm currently investigating how I can automate as much of our tablet setup process as possible. One thing we do is reduce the camera resolution for saved images, so images that my company's field team upload to our systems, don't fill the servers with unnecessarily high quality images! I've looked at the following posts and attempted the watchsettings on function but I'm not seeing logs for the settings in the camera app on Android 7 (Samsung Galaxy Tab S2). https://discussions.soti.net/thread/what-is-the-script-command-to-pull-a-uri/ https://discussions.soti.net/thread/set-the-device-settings-using-a-script-or-configuration-file/ I understand there's more flexibility with Android Enterprise but Samsung isn't one of the certified manufacturers so we are having to stick with Android Plus. Hi, we can enroll iPhone 5,6 without any problems, but we can not enroll a iPhone 8. We do the same enroll process like the iPhone 5 and 6 devices. The iOS version (11.4.1) is the same with the old devices. The enroll process does work normaly without any problems on the device (app or website) The Device appears in the Console with a very long device name. The renaming of the device in the console does not work with iPhone 8. All other informations are not coming even after few hours. Nothing happens and the profile installation is still pending With the old iPhone Devices (5 and 6) it works normaly. Renaming works and all Informations are displayed in few moments in the Console. We configured TLS 1.2 (like in the iOS 12 Articel and all is compliant with the Apple test tool) We tried to enroll the iPhone 8 as a blank Device or as a BYOD version without a sucess. It is not a DEP Device! Does anyone have the same Problem? Thanks and best Regards Thomas
