Dear Professionalists, There are 2 physical Servers and on each server, MobiControl(MS, DS, Mobi Search) and SQL Servers are installed. The SQL cluster Service is already built and running but for the SOTI Mobi Control, Is there any special configuration on MAU(MobiControl Administration Utility) or other for cluser service? I can't seem to find a setting for this but I would imagine there would be one. We have a general portal our customers have logins for to manage their devices for mostly remote control capabilities. These users should have not have access to un-enroll a device from MobiControl. That would give them wide-open access to the tablet with our SIM card in it. Am I missing the setting to prevent non-admin users from performing this action? Thanks
we are testing a Zebra TC57 and Zebra Agents are not compatible. we do not want to go to Android + enterprise as it locks out developer options. Any suggestions? We are on version 14.1.8.1064
I deployed a lockdown on a samsung Xcover. I added on the lockdown a shortcut to start the standard application ''Téléphone''. I tried to launch the 3 applications below one by one but nothing happens. Thank you in advance for your help
Hi, I am curious if there is a way to create custom macros in addition to what's already available, such as %MAC% or %DEVICENAME%. I see in v13 scripting documentation a mention about setting variables but there is not much context provided behind where to use this syntax or what platforms are supported. My goal is to create a custom macro that is pulling custom data being collected from an ini file on the device and then to utilize that macro in my Lockdown code. I may be able to accomplish with the REST api's but haven't gone down that path quite yet.
After installing a MobiControl package with an AndroidAPK, the devices logs are showing the following: Error message received from device (Package [<application>] does not contain default activity) Is there an explanation for this error?

Does anyone have any idea as to why feature control continues to grey-out access to changing the USB Computer Connection settings in Android 5.0.2 even after revoking the profile? Better yet, does anyone know how to correct it so it could be accessed again?

With the new GDPR rules, we have to inform the users that we will remote control his device, what do you recommend ? If the device is locked, the message sent by the adminstrator via Mobicontrol, is not displayed on the device and the user don't know that the administrator has the control. Thank you
I have profiles with a single application that time to time needs updating but only in a controlled and staggered method. For instance version 1.0 is installed to all devices but when 1.1 comes around it needs to be sent to 3 devices in a single container. If you create a new profile you will get an I/O error as the application is already installed in another profile you then need to revoke the profile on an individual basis to allow installation of the new profile. I have tried sending the package to specific containers and un-ticking the below in the assignment options. Although in my head this should install the app to the requested containers and not remove the current version from existing devices. This resulted in deleting the application from the devices and just pushing the new version to the selected devices. Can you share your experiences or feedback?
