Hi I have old files that have been created with StageNow. However I changed computer and now i'm unable to re-open these files because StageNow was stored local. I'm trying to figure out again which steps I need to use how to configure; We will be changing SSID in our shops - I want to add the SSID with passphrase - I want to remove connection to my old SSID (forget the SSID) -I want to add a PASS LOCK into the script I've tried to use StageNow on Xpertconfig (MX Version - 10.1) Added a "Wifi" profile x3 to firstly remove all existing networks, add the new SSID & connect to the SSID. It doesn't work right now, it wont even delete the existing network.
Hi All We have an inhouse built application that isn't currently available on the Google Play Store as it is still in development stage. Previous versions of our application have allowed us and still allow us with the latest version of Mobicontrol to upload the app as an Enterprise Application however as of recent versions this is no longer letting us and were unsure as to why. When we try upload the apk to the enterprise application we get the following error : You have selected a file with incorrect format. Please select another .apk file (Screenshot below) Is anyone able to give us some direction on what to look for and how to solve this issue?
Hello, Is there a way to bulk import lockdown images into MobiControl? The only method of uploading that i can see is via the shared file browser, however this only lets you import 1 image at a time. I have several hundred images i need to import so would be handy if i could do it in one upload.
hi all, I have a question about Mobicontrol. I would like to give Mobicontrol acces to modify the system settings. this without a user interaction. Do you know if this is possible via a Stagenow script or is there any other way to get this done? popup we got into the lockscreen this is the message after pressing the popup this is what we want to enable via a stagenow script or any other solution within Mobicontrol. so without a userinteraction. Hi, I had to install a banking app on our T26 Android11 devices. Apon running the app for the first time I get a wizard which I have go through. On a specific step I have to give permissions in the Accesibility settings for the app. We are using Lockdown on all of our devices and because of this Accesibility is almost instantly closed or moved in the backgound. The only way to setup the app is to exit from lockdown. How to give permission to Accessibility? Many thanks,
Hello We're planning to integrate a VPN application (Zscaler). When it is initialized, we have an Android popup (see below) that the user must authorize by pressing the "OK" button. I'm looking for a way to automate this action. We have a solution that uses a JS script (Mobicontrol) with the device.injectKey function to perform TAB, Enter and timers.This doesn't seem 100% reliable to me, I'm afraid of having a lot of failures. Does anyone have a better solution to avoid this popup or to authorize it automatically ? I have a re-occurring issue with SOTI Mobicontrol, in which when I enroll devices using the Windows Modern PPKG method, the device enrolls and shows up consistently on SOTI, but does not proceed to install/download the Mobicontrol Agent.There does not seem to be a way to manually trigger this, nor is there an installer that I can download and run like there is for the Windows Classic enrollment method.Is there a way to manually push the agent install through the server, or pull it from the enrolled client/host? surely there must be a command/script that I can run, or a package that I can install locally to force the agent install.In the past I have received the response that this is not possible, but I do not accept this. If it can be done via automation, then it can surely be done/triggered manually.
Hi, Upgrade by Soti doesn't work for us as specified by Zebra (link: Perform an OS Update Using StageNow Tool or SOTI MobiControl (zebra.com)) Upgrade is working fine by StageNow by two copy file operations (full.zip and payload.upl) + plus running the payload file. Then I tried a new sync rule with those two files and running the script but upgrade doesn't get initialised. No error message, only: Script was sent to device (sendintent -b "intent:#Intent;action=com.motorolasolutions.intent.action.UPDATE_PACKAGE;S.file=/sdcard/payload.upl;end") Do you know someone a solution? HiI wish to activate/deactivate windows update service with script on Windows modern device's. It works fine to start or stop the update service sending the command "net start wuauserv" with PowerShell Native script.But it does not work to send "sc config wuauserv start=disable" to completely disable windows update. I can disable/enable windows update if I open a dos prompt on the device and type "sc config wuauserv start=disable" but i would like to send this command as a script in SOTI.Is this possible?
Hello, I have 3 items in my lockdown mode, and I want to always go back to lockdown mode when the device locks. I have configured the device with screen timeout of 60 seconds and after that when the user unlocks the device again I want to show lockdown menu. Thanks.
Good morning, I unenroll a device and I would like to enroll it again. But with I upgraded my MobiControl server to 15.6.5.1018 version.I saw in the release note of the 15.6.5.1018 version: Enrollment Policies Migration: "the Enrollment URLs of the Enrollment Policies created before upgrading to this version of SOTI MobiControl will no longer work" So I guess, that I have to create again the Enrollment Policies. The thing is that I can't find the "add devices" option for android. For example, for windows device, I have this: But for the android, i don't have anything. Thank you for your help
Good morning, I'm actually trying to transfer some files from my Zebra TC75 device working on androïd 5.1 but I'm not able to detect the device with my computer. In the settings, I can see that the option of USB are greyed out. I know that it's not my USB cable because it's working with another Zebra TC77 device working on 8.1 Is it greyed because of Soti ? Hello, I have two SOTI server, the first has the version 13.3 and the second has the version 15.5 How can I migrate one device under Android from the first server (V13) to the second server (V15) ? I think we can use scripts to do that ? what is the easiest way ? Thank you, François
Hello, since the Update 2024.0 the Lockdown items were removed. The profile cannot be saved and blocks also other profiles to be installed. We fixed it by creating a new Lockdown profile with the same items after the update. This works. Devices that had the profile previously assigned were still working properly. But profile updates of other profiles were also not instaleld due to the broken Lockdown profile. Best, Eduard
