Hello, I have around 250 Honeywell CT60 units. When adding com.android.settings to blacklist, the unit will not start up again after I turn it off. It is stuck on Honeywell start/boot screen, and I have to Factory Reset the unit to get it on again. I blaclist many other apps, but it only crashes when I add settings to blacklist. My mission is to prevent the user of the unit to access settings on the device. I used this controll earlier, but after i updated Soti to the latest version, the CT60 crash. So its working on the unit, but not on the version of Soti im running I guess Any idea what to do? Tried on Android 7.1.1 and 9. same result. Soti MobiControl 15.1.0.3413
Greetings, i'm struggling to get the following devices: -Honeywell CT40, 50, 60 -Zebra TC57, 77 to pair with: -Honeywell 86801 -Zebra RS6000 If the Computer devices are not enrolled they pair perfectly with a NFC bump but as soon as enrolled with SOTI they do not pair. It appears that the device does not show the prompt for pairing after they are tapped with NFC but i cannot find a way to allow this prompt message to show?
This question is specific to the honeywell device. Google updates have blocked honeywell system service for suspicious activity. This has been fixed from a honeywell patch via OS update. However the devices that have the service already blocked and updated the firmware will still have the service blocked. Honeywell sent me this android shell script to enable the service but I cannot seem to get it to work via SOTI. I have tried scripts via the console, post and pre install scripts under packages and also using the shell screen via remote control. Nothing seems to work. Below is the shell script. pm enable com.honeywell.tools.honsystemservice I need enable this honeywell service to use the honeywell provisioning mode. Thanks, Kavinda
Hi, We're have this issue occurring on a Honeywell CT60, its running in lockdown mode with Soti Surf 14.4 as the only accessible application. Whenever its placed into a dock or removed from it Soti Surf reloads and then the soft keyboard starts appearing over top of text inputs. The only way to get it to function normally where the text input moves up when the soft keyboard opens is to close then reopen Soti Surf. I've updated Soti Surf and the devices firmware but this issue still occurs, and I cant see any settings for Soti Surf or the device that would cause this. I'm not to sure if this is an Android thing or a Soti Surf issue, as this problem does not occur when using Chromium. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Matt
I've just put the latest honeywell android version (HON660-O-86.00.13-(0108)) on a honeywell CT60 and since doing that every time it reboots the 'settings' > 'display' > 'advanced' > 'display size' is being changed to "large". My preferred setting is "default" as otherwise the SOTI lockdown menu is single rather than two columns and the apps are too jumbo sized. Has anyone else come across this issue where even manually changed settings are not persisting across a reboot? I have used SOTI to deploy an EPP XML config file but there appears to be no setting for "display size" in there only "font size". I've also asked this on the Honeywell site as perhaps theres an EPP XML setting to control the scale that is not yet documented. https://honeywellaidc.force.com/supportppr/s/question/0D52K00003rKSvgSAG/ct60-with-hon660o8600130108-installed-defaults-to-large-display-size?t=1567136729976&searchQuery
Hi All. There was an add device rule created for android with the option of skipping the activation of google account during enrolment. These devices will display the "Account activation pending" in the device details tab for android enterprise. We have now created and MGPA and done the binding on SOTI. Added this enterprise into the add device rule. Any new devices that gets enrolled using this add device rule will get the MGPA account (long charater string google account) This is the same rule we used to enroll the devices earlier with a option of skipping the google account creation during enrolment. Question is can we enable the process of the old devices getting the MGPA activated without a reset and re enroll of the devices? Mobicontrol-14.3.3.1111 Devices- Honeywell CT60 Android 7 GMS

Looking for help with CT 60 Android agent enrollment. We currently have a CT 60, and I worked with SOTI Support to enroll this device. We tried many times, only to receive an “Empty Token” error. After a month of trying, the SOTI support shared there were a few open tickets with the same problem. The SOTI support finally “injected” the agent directly into the device and going through the Android + path. The help I need now is we are planning to purchase more CT 60s with in the next month and I need info on how do I enroll the new devices? Do I need to “inject” each device? Do I use an "add device rule"? Mahalo (thank you) in advance.
