SOTI Surf reloading when device is placed in dock

Hi,

We're have this issue occurring on a Honeywell CT60, its running in lockdown mode with Soti Surf 14.4 as the only accessible application. 

Whenever its placed into a dock or removed from it Soti Surf reloads and then the soft keyboard starts appearing over top of text inputs. The only way to get it to function normally where the text input moves up when the soft keyboard opens is to close then reopen Soti Surf.

I've updated Soti Surf and the devices firmware but this issue still occurs, and I cant see any settings for Soti Surf or the device that would cause this.

I'm not to sure if this is an Android thing or a Soti Surf issue, as this problem does not occur when using Chromium.

Any help would be appreciated.

What are the version and build numbers of your MobiControl server and agent?

How did you define the "PROGRAM" field of your kiosk item for "Soti Surf" in your Kiosk/Lockdown profile configuration?

Our MobiControl server is version 14.4.2.1307, and the agent on the device is version 13.8.0.1047.

The program field is set to load a website with surf://

As I don't know what features of Soti Surf you have been using,  I can't tell if there is any other change that needs to be made to support your use case if you try out the following:

   launchalways://net.soti.surf

If this works to fix your "reload" problem, more information may be needed to fix any side effect(s) related to UI.

Eventually got a support ticket created for this and the issue has been fixed with Soti Surf 15.2
