    Install a profile only if an application is installed Solved

    Hello, Is it possible to make the installation of a profile conditional on the presence of an application on a device? I want the profile to be installed only if the application that is deployed from an ‘application policy’ is installed on the device. Is this possible? Thank you in advance for your help.

    Google Chrome Not Showing Managed Configuration Settings Solved

    We are currently unable to see Google Chrome managed configurations which is affecting our ability to manage a number of consoles. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? It appears any previously set configs are still being picked up by devices, we are just unable to edit them. I am aware other MDMs are still displaying the managed config, and seems to be isolated to MobiControl at the moment. This is happening across various versions of the Web Console.

    Here is a policy to lock a device on Chrome and restrict Chrome, what is the best way to make this work on an enrolled device? Solved

    Good Morning, I was wondering what the best way to get the following policy to work with SOTI and our devices. The policy's goal is to restrict Chrome and whitelist one of our companies approved sites. Below is a current example:  {"applications": [{"packageName": "com.android.chrome","installType": "FORCE_INSTALLED","managed_configuration": {"URLBlacklist": ["*"],"URLWhitelist": ["test.webapps.jacam.com"]},"lockTaskAllowed": true,"defaultPermissionPolicy": "GRANT"}],"persistentPreferredActivities": [{"receiverActivity": "com.android.chrome","actions": ["android.intent.action.MAIN"],"categories": ["android.intent.category.HOME","android.intent.category.DEFAULT"]}],"statusBarDisabled": true}

    Policies in groups

    Hi. I created a device groups tree and attached a few policies in specific groups. If there is many different groups with some policies in them it can be hard to keep track of them... Is there an easy way to see what policies there are in a specific group? As far as I can see I have to look on a specific device in the group to find out what policies has been pushed out.

    Certificate policy and Authentication policy Solved Locked

    It seems that, if you want to deploy a certificate (using a Certificate configuration in a Policy), you also have to deploy an Authentication policy, according to the warning shown below: So we created an Authentication Policy too, and it surprises us to see that it's not necessary to define a User Password Policy.The 'Device Administrator Password' setting is enough. Is this logical? Because, when installing a certificate on a non-MobiControl-managed device (plain, out-of-the-box Android), one must configure a pincode on the device before a certificate can be installed... SOTI Support has been contacted & have indicated to us that 'if it's working for you right now, it will be ok', but I'm interested in the deeper philosophy behind the above... ;)
