    Galaxy Tab S6 (Android EnterPrise)

Hello everybody, I have a Galaxy Tab S6 device, I used to install Work Managed mode for this device (factory the device then enter afw#mobicontrol code when asking for Google account entry), the device is still active work normally with the Work Managed Profile. However, I deleted the device from the SOTI MobiControl system for a while.Today, I re-enrollment this device to connect to the SOTI MobiControl system, of course I still install the above steps, but the device no longer works with the Work Managed Profile. I ran the test by creating an Anhdroid Classic Profile and assigning it to the device, strangely enough, it worked. I still don't understand where the reason is.Has anyone encountered a situation like this yet, please help me. Many thanks!

    Samsung Tablet WIFI Switch

Hi all, We have some Samsung tablets in our environment.  But they keep switching WIFI profiles. We have one staging profile using a WPA2 passphrase and a cert based wifi. After switching to the production wifi (cert based) the device keeps switching back now and then. With our Zebra devices we are able to use the MX framework. But there is nothing like that on a Samsung tablet. Does anyone have something to resolve this?

Script command to wake Samsung tablet

Hello,I’m trying to remotely wake up Android Tablets. The situation is that I have a number of Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) tablets that are configured with a lockdown for customers to use. We have been getting complaints that staff are getting tired of having to wake the tablets up every morning. The tablets are in enclosures that and they can’t reach the buttons to wake it up. The tablets are on Android 8.1 SOTI we are using is 14.4We have disabled the daze mode and set the screen time out to 5 or 6 hours. Our initial tablets that never turned off had to be replaced due to burn in so leaving them lit up overnight isn’t going to work out that wellI’ve tried sending scripts like unlock and they don’t seem to do anything no error nothing. However, if I send reset /s as a script command it reboots, if I send lock it locks so it is executing some scripts. The tablets being what they are don’t have the double tab to wake option. When I remote to them and used the home button they wake up fine so the connection is fine.Ultimately I was hoping to use the task schedule to send the script but if I can’t get it to work as a one off it seems unlikely it will work with the schedule.Anyone run into something like this or have any suggestions?

    Manually changing provider

Hello, We've got a customer with Android 5.1.1 and Android 9 Samsung Galaxy Tab Active or Tab Active2-tablets and we're having a lot of trouble with a certain network provider abroad. The tablets automatically choose this provider (roaming is active) since it seems to have the best coverage, yet certain connections will still get blocked. Calling and sending text messages works perfectly fine, but sending simple .gif files through our own application already proves to be difficult. Sadly, MobiControl will lose all connectivity. Our own current provider can't do much to help, other than to keep complaining to the foreign provider. We've changed our own application to withhold certain files until a different network is chosen, but with users spending a lot of time in this country this isn't a truly viable option. These tablets are running in Lockdown mode and the users aren't permitted to change other settings than the MobiControl Settings Manager has to offer (volumes, display, bluetooth, wifi). But, if they were able to alter settings, they'd be able to manually forcefully change the active network to whatever else there's in range. As soon as a different network is chosen, all connectivity restores. Now, my question to you: Do you know of any shortcut or intent with which we can add a button to the lockdown screen which in turn leads to the option to manually select a network? Preferably in such a way that other settings are still hidden or blocked? Thanks in advance for thinking along. Kind regards,Theun SchellekensMobiCoach B.V.

Cannot Remote Control onto Android devices Solved

I've recently upgraded MobiControl to v14.1 and have also installed SOTI Assist so that I am able to remote control onto Android devices which are enrolled with MobiControl. When viewing the device details on MobiControl the remote control option is not shown at all. I've also contacted SOTI and was told to try sending the following script to the device:  _resetfailedrcdetectionflag restartagent This did not resolve the issue, I am still not able to remote control any of the Android devices I have enrolled. I also have a range of HHT devices enrolled, I am able to use SOTI Assist Remote Control with these devices but not with Android tablets. What else do I need to do to be able to control the Android devices remotely?
