Hello, I really appreciate if any of you could help me with the following issue. We have a use case for Android Enterprise Work Profile in which we need an app that uses bluetooth in the work profile. The app is deployed sucessfully, but it is not able to scan bluetooth devices. The app works fine if it is install out of the profile. We have tested serveral apps in several devices (Android 8,9,10,11 from different manufactures), indeed I developed a small app tha only scans devices and shows a list, but the issue is the same with all apps. We have also tested the BasicManagedProfile app that Google sugests to test apps in work profiles. The problem is the same. https://developer.android.com/work/managed-profiles So the question is: Does the Work Profle allow apps to scan and use bluetooth services? Is this a limitation of work profile? I appreciate your comments.
Hi, I'm having some issues with Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 running Android 11 and MobiControl. I installed the MobiControl app and enrolled the device. Then the app ask me to enable work profile and uninstall MobiControl app. I would rather use the MobiControl app and avoid work profiles. What am I doing wrong here? Are there any up to date documentation on setting up MobiControl on Samsung tablets? If I ignore MobiControl when it ask to enable work profile, I can see the device as online in the MobiControl web console, and I can remote view, but not control. I can not deploy any packages or profiles.
Hello, is it possible to activate/ deactivate work profile via a scheduler? I am using MobiControl Version 15.0.2 with Andorid 9 devices (GX290 from Gigaset) Thanks!
We are looking at the feasibility to deploy a work profile and to utilise the dual SIM capability, initially on Samsung devices. Therefore to use SIM1 for personal and SIM2 for work profile. Does this sort of feature exist or in the pipeline for implementation into later versions of MobiControl, especially as more devices are being released into the marketplace with SIM card managers for dual sim's

It was working and available last week but after a period of testing un-enrolling and re-enrolling the work container is now longer on the device. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this i have spent time running through all the options for the device in SOTI i can't see where this might have happened. Hello, we set up Android 9 devices as BYOD with an Android Work profile. We do the following steps: Setting up the device but skip the Google account setup (because the user of the device should add their personal Google account later) Now the Work profile should be added Is there a better way than now downloading the MobiControl agent apk, install it on the device and enter the enrollment id to set up the Work profile?
