Hi,

I have an Android 11 fully managed device with an application deployed via Managed google play.

When I look at the applications permissions, the toggle for "Remove Permissions if app isnt used" is greyed out and turned on.

Im not sure which configuration option I have enabled which has both turned it on and greyed it out. Revoking the profiles etc hasnt helped me identify the source.

Do anyone have an infomation on this / a command to disable

Thanks

Adam

According to latest Google documentation at

   https://developer.android.com/reference/android/R.attr#autoRevokePermissions

and response from Google team in Google developer's forum, the  autoRevokePermissions  added in API level 30 (Android 11) is no longer used.  Declaring this does nothing.  So I reckon whether the option is turned on or greyed out does not matter.

Are you using any specific apps with documentation saying that its proper operation/functioning relies on this permission?   If so, please give more details of such apps.

Hi Raymond,

So when the application launches, it asks the user to turn that setting off although that is optional.

The issue I have is the device is in a lockdown, that prompt appears and if the end user clicks it then it will bump the user out of the application all the time. I guess I will be reaching out to the developer.

Thank you
