Remote control does not works

Hi all, 

after click on remote control button in soti console the browser wants install Xsight. After installation and restart the browser is the same problem. Again browser wants install Xsight and repaet it further. 

What is wrong?

Hi Zdenek,

If you did not restart MC services during the installation of Xsight, you may restart Deployment and Management Services and then try it again. And do double check that Xsight health is all good from XSgiht Admin utility. I hope it helps. Thank you

Thank you for answer. The problem is on the client computer and browser, I think. The attached images show how the client browser behaves. It only happens on a few clients, others work.

So, if it is specific to some user's computer/internet browser then, they may try using different internet browser or incognito mode (clearing cookies).

OK thank you I will try it. Maybe it is issue of privileges to install msi package also.

For this users, you can also verify whether they enable their preference (as below) to select Xsight to do Remote control. As it looks like they are trying to use legacy remote control version (instead of Xsight, on above Screenshots of yours).

The web based choice is disabled and not possible to select it.

I installed the xsight. Web based choice is accesible now an works. But,

after installing xsight, I can no longer log in to the mobicontrol webconsole with the administrator user. After entering the password it says "invalid credentials". But the password didn't change.

Hi Zdenek,

It's a different topic, you may create another post here or create a Support Ticket to SOTI if you wish and needed. If your password is in auto-saved on your internet browser that may not the case, but just for your information, if you may write the password wrong X- time, your login may be locked. So, if you may have any other account that has "admin" permissions you can login and unlock the account or reset the password. If you don't have any other admin account, according to me it may be better to have at least one more account for double check purpose. I hope it helps. Thank you
